Votorantim (Portuguese pronunciation: [votoɾɐ̃ˈtʃĩ]) is a city located at the southwest of São Paulo State in Brazil. It is part of the Metropolitan Region of Sorocaba. The population is 117,794 (2015 est.). The city is located about 100 km (62 mi) away from the capital of the state. It has 147 km (57 sq mi) of rural area, 30 km (12 sq mi) of urban area and a total area of 183.52 km (70.86 sq mi).

Yoshi's was introduced to me as the best Japanese food in Sorocaba. Really did not live up to that billing. Service was poor at the old restaurant. At the new in the shopping centre the service was much better.
Rodizio is good value.
But nothing different or special. Really nothing special. I preferred a cheaper and more simple restaurant close by. At least the guy was improvising and innovative.

Considering that top options arround aren't many, this is a gem. The quality of the meat is very good, the portion is huge and the homemade chimichurri is lovelly. Its very suitable for a football+beer also, then try the provoleta.

I love pizza. Too much. Have had it all over the US and even in Naples, Italy. The pizza at Micheluccio is awesome! Not inexpensive by any means, but you get what you pay for. They have more varieties than you can imagine, so ordering could be a bit tough. I'm a sucker for the good old cheese and pepperoni. The service is excellent...each slice is served personally just as you are ready for it. It did not take long for the order to come out, but it would have been worth waiting an hour for it. Awesome cheese and just the right amount of spice on the pepperoni made for a great meal. Could have used just a tad more sauce, but I'm certainly not complaining. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Sorocaba. They have a great outdoor Seating area, but it was a little too chilly the night we were there.

I had the most wonderful carpaccio, and also the bruschetta and pizzas were yummy. The place is roomy and elegant and it has a great service. Parking is tricky.

Izumi is unique at all. A great location, services and food quality. The onwer Ms Ruriko Nakamura is very kind and care about service. Also she is a Top 1/Top 2 Brazilian golfer. You can several awards at decoration. Highly recommend!!! At least 2 per month I leave SP, 1:10hs driving to there just to have a lunch or dinner. Worth every penny.

Everything is perfect. I love that place. Best food, traditional and great ambient, feel like a family dinning room.
The service are efficient and friendly. Not a fancy place, but that's the best about. recommended everything at menu, I been there every week. My favorites is the hot roll with cream cheese, butter calamari, and any boat... White fish is special.
