At the Hostaria Via Caprera you can find the typical venetian tradition in the cuisine, where there are a lot of Cicchetti and menù with an ancient taste. Radicchio and Bean, Pasta and Bean, Bigoli, Baccalà, Sarde in Saor, Soup of Onions, are just example of what you can taste, without counting the specialities of meat. Besides is possible to discover little by little the products typical of season through the "Weekly Tasting" menù, or research the past in the cuisine with the "Great War" menù. Worthy of attention is the Wine Cellar, that offers the highest quality of typical wine and Prosecco with the possibility to take home what you do not consume, following the slogan "Stropa e porta via", or the bar where you can find cocktail prepared by Gian Paolo e Roberto (Barman AIBES), also are always available cicchetti, spritz, aperitif, as tradition. The restaurant has a inner garden available from june to september and at the upper floor there is a room very warm and comfortable thanks to the fireplace and to the wood beams. The place allows to host wedding cerimonies, degree parties, birthday parties, baptisms, groups, dinners/lunches/business buffet. Paolo and Roberto are a landmark for over twenty years in the ristoration field and they follow the venetian tradition in the cuisine. The food follows the seasons. Is important not to omit the stocked selection of the local wine. "Hostaria Via Caprera" offers an highly organized service of Catering (even in modality "Take Away") to deliver to your home everything you want and Banqueting for organize with you your party in the most congenial location. The services reach the provinces of Treviso, Belluno, Pordenone and Venice.
This is an unusual restaurant. The menu is written in dialect and the food is supposed to be typical of the region but I found the offerings to be quite sophisticated. As a starter, I had a cold asparagus creme brûlée followed by an order of pear and mascarpone ravioli made with handmade melt-in-your-mouth pasta. The service was impeccable.

nice traditional trattoria. Small and cosy need to book well in advance if you want to attend during week ends. Fish at his best with chef coming to give himself hints on the availabilities of the day. Next time I will make sure to taste the antipasti it seems they are gorgeous! The mixed grill was fantastic, tasty and copious!

What a great restaurant if you love pizza.
For starters cloth tablecloths.
Service is very welcoming and sincere. Pizza has condiments in quantity. Presentation is more than a pizza.
I was amazed at the personal welcoming give young children. Made them feel at home.
Immaculately clean.
And prices are reasonable. I wish we had such a pizzeria at home.

Really nice place on the Terrace at the river with a cool breeze after a hot day in Veneto. Restaurant was very busy. We were offered some fried vegetables as appetizers which were very nice and crispy. First dish: risotto a bit dry but good taste. For the kids we ordered ravioli, which was good. Main courses: beef tartare which was chewy and had big lumps. Not good. Crispy pork, which was dry, tasteless and had lumps of fat. Not good. Taglia of beef was ok. All dishes were served with diced potatoes from the oven, which were completely cold. Shame. Desserts: chocolate cupcake with caramel was really nice, and the tiramisu was not bad either. Red wine was excellent. All in all not the best dinner experience we had in Veneto.

Since re-opening under new ownership this restaurant has become one of the best if not the best restaurant in Vittorio Veneto! The menu is not confusing and all of the options are of high quality, the quality of the meat cuts is superb and was always cooked perfectly as ordered.
Many places I have visited have problems separating the restaurant from the bar, this location seems to have things dialed in very well as we could never hear the loud chatter coming from the bar area while we were dining. The outdoor music was at a perfect volume while the lighting was very well proportioned.
The outdoor tables are spaced pretty far apart which is nice, the atmosphere was never rushed which was nice as to not have to eat quickly.
In warm weather the outdoor area is outstanding, there are not many tables indoors and things do get quite hot with the wood fire which makes it very nice on the colder winter days. The wait staff is always very helpful and professional and always spent time with us explaining the menu in more detail for us non-proficient Italians :)

The place is so hospitable and welcoming. The food is outstanding and the service is friendly and overwhelming. I brought a couple of friends from the USA to this place and we left more than satisfied. They have a nice seafood platter as an appetizer with a variety of entrees. If you want to enjoy thin crusty Italian pizza of every taste, they will make it for you. Thanks to the owner for making us try some digestives after dinner from grappa, norcino to limoncelo!
