We came to celebrate my mom's 82nd birthday with dinner at the Driftless Cafe. I've heard a ton of good things about this place, and needed to try it out. Never did I ever expect to have such a wonderful dinner with a beautiful presentation. This was one of the top dinners that I have ever had! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I'm a fan of all their baked goods, especially the multi-grain bread. I have a friend with soy allergies and The Cakery's products don't cause him issues. We love the selection of specialty cookies and breads for the holidays, especially the rosettes.

Food is good and usual pricing for Dairy Queen. They do not have eat in service. They are quick and located on a corner which makes it easy to find. Workers are very friendly.

We had heard about Dave's Pizza so we decided to give it a try after riding our bike all the way out to the Blue Goose, only to find out it wasn't open! Dave's certainly did not disappoint. The pizza was perfect - the crust wasn't too thick or too thin, wasn't greasy, and tasted fresh and delicious! The atmosphere is a little funky and eclectic, and we saw that they were scooping up ice cream but we did not have room for any! He also has a bar on the other side - we didn't check it out, but I'm sure it's just as cool as the rest of the place is! When you're in the mood for pizza - Dave's is definitely worth the visit!

Everyone is welcome to shop, membership not required! The VFC is cooperatively owned by over 3,700 members.Fresh, local and organic food from over 200 local farmers and food producers. Superior customer service from our knowledgeable employees. Committed to healthy foods + superior customer service + a cooperatively run business. Serving 3 meals daily, along with grab-n-go items, with indoor and outdoor seating.
You'd expect a cool co-op in Madison, Milwaukee, or Eau Claire, but Viroqua? This town is turning into an organic foodie's dream. The co-op is a great place to sample some organic fare. Not only is this a grocery, but it's a deli complete with soup and salad bar. The staff is super nice and chill. My soup and sandwich (Potato curry soup & kimchi Rueben) were quite good. If ever passing through, this is a good place to stop.

Our family of four stopped by here on our way to West Salem. We each had a sandwich meal. I highly recommend the BLT! You can also purchase local good or cheese by the pound here. We went at 1:30 in the afternoon and the...MoreThank you so much for your review! I'm a big fan of the BLT, too, but I add some bleu cheese crumbles just for fun! Thank you so much for stopping!

We went to this restaurant this morning for a late breakfast with some family. Breakfast was good, but nothing spectacular was on the menu compared to every other dinner. Where we got our surprise was when the bill came and we had a charge for an additional $2.25. When we asked about the charge it was because they charged us for cheese on two of the kids hash browns for .75 each. The real shock was they charged us .75 cents for a piece of lettuce on our youngest's cheeseburger, yes you read that right .75 cents for a piece of lettuce. Then when we asked about the charge they told us it was the rule, but could not produce anything in the menu that said they charged extra for lettuce on burgers. Again the food was average, service was good but make sure you ask when placing your order what extra's they charge for or else you to might get an unexpected surprise.

Absolutely upscale wine bar and bistro with clean, imaginative decor - art deco at its best. Great wine selection and craft and microbrews. Limited menu but well prepared, eye appealing and served in the dining room that enjoys tasteful art, subdued lighting and comfortable chairs and a seating area. Many evenings has live music. Worth a visit.

My wife and I stopped in on a Saturday afternoon for sandwiches. I got the steak and she got the burger. Both were delicious and very filling. The atmosphere inside and outside were nice. The service was great. My only complaint is the men's bathroom smelled musty. Nothing that a little tea tree oil can't solve, however. We will return for..... Friday Fish Fry.

Traveling on business I stayed in a local motel and felt like Chinese one night and this is the only Chinese restaurant in the area.
So, I called them for delivery and ordered Happy Family, Spareribs and Wonton Soup.
Very cheerful on the phone and the driver (which was also the chef judging by his kitchen whites) delivered the order right on time.
The soup was perfect, 3-4 wontons with a freshly cooked pork filling, nice broth without the fat like a lot of Chinese restaurants don't skim off and the soup was very favorable.
I ordered spareribs and they didn't say that they didn't have them, but what I received where strips of BBQ'd pork - which all in all was fine too, because it was superb, nice touch with the hoisen sauce too.
Happy family was happy! Everything was fresh, cooked perfectly with nice 16/20 shrimp, a good size and about 4-5 of them along with pork, chicken and beef. All of the vegetables were great - nice work indeed.
They sent over a big handful of duck sauce packets like I had requested and they included the fried noodles along with fortune cookies -- with some good fortunes too!
Highly recommended!
