My family and I chose canelloni, barbecued kidney and grilled chicken, accompanied by a serving of au gratin chard in bechamel sauce and one of mashed potatoes. All excellent dishes, freshly made, and at very competitive prices for the area. We would certainly recommend it. Service was friendly and fast.

We were forced to eat here when our original dinner plans fell through at the last minute. All the other restaurants were really crowded and we didn't have to wait an hour for a table. We know why, it's the dreadful food. The Milanese was overcooked and tough. The tortilla was tasteless. I suspect that the olive oil bottle was filled with cooking oil for the salad. They didn't even serve Argentinian beers. The waiter was very nice though. He seemed embarrassed by what was coming out of the pass and avoided our table after serving the food. Not surprised. Avoid.

Pero tambien para aquellos que quieran disfrutar de nuestros wafles dulces o salados, o bien de las pastas caseras. El entorno es muy calido, predomina la madera de viejos durmientes de quebracho y las piedras rusticas. El lugar es atendido por sus propios duenos. Podemos decir que el viejo hobbit es un lugar donde el tiempo se detuvo.

Mágico lugar en ambientación y propuesta. Imperdible de visitarlo si andas por Gesell o alrededores.
Happy hour de 18a20hs, no es necesario la reservas para estos casos, aunque si hay que llamar antes si la intención es cenar.
Pasamos para conocer el lugar y tomar unas pintas, pero fue tal el encanto que nos llevamos al rato de estar ahí adentro, que pedimos una mesa para cenar en caso que se cayera una reserva. Y así fue por suerte! En el salón de planta baja, con una banda en vivo, y un ambiente maravilloso, comimos una pizza buenísima. Tiene un sector con recuerdos y delicatessen para llevarse de souvenirs. Los precios más que acordes en relación a la calidad del servicio y la atención.
Buenísimo todo. La gente del lugar súper amable y servicial.
Excelente propuesta para las noches de verano.

We stopped in for a beer and a cheeseburger and was greeted with big smiles (always a plus in my eyes). The service was fast, friendly and the waitresses always approached with a smile.
Wow! The cheeseburger was probably the best I've ever had! Don't miss their great papas fritas (french fries).
We will definitely return to try other options as the menu is 21 page and starts with an index.

We searched for an appealing looking restaurant that had seafood with an Italian cuisine flavor and we found what we wanted, Chiquitin. The Seating is spacious and the entire restaurant is immaculately clean. Waiters are fun and attentive to your dining needs. The food was delicious and delivered promptly. I had then stuffed squid and my wife had the white salmon. Both were brought to the table at perfect temperature, seasoned with Italian flair and not overcooked ( see photos ). The house salad was great as well with fresh greens and tasty tomatoes.

The staff at this restaurant made every effort to ensure that all the customers rang in the New Year with great food, drink and a convivial atmosphere. We were given a menu that consisted of 5 set menus. However,mew were told that could mix and match to our taste. Many locals frequent this restaurant and their normal restaurant menu looked good and had a very Spanish feel to it. I loved the flan with the dulce de leche. Better quality than I've eaten in Spain. The seafood was cooked very well. The staff were lovely and professional. This restaurant is popular and is best to make a reservation.

Visited for dinner while staying for a couple of days in Villa Gesell at this very cute family restaurant. Everything was really good, nice location, great and quick service, even loved to answer all our detailed questions about the menu.
The food was nice and rustic, generous portions and nice taste, the price was very good for the quality and overall visit. Had a really nice wine assortment.
Only drawback was the limited air-conditioning which resulted in a very hot dinner but all-in-all a very nice visit.

Nos costó encontrar el restaurante, no conocemos muy bien Gessell, y calle es un poco oscura.
El lugar está bien, en el salón principal no hay muchas mesas, aunque se ha anexado un patio cerrado.
El salón comedor es un tanto caluroso, el servicio es bueno con varias camareras que atienden las mesas con celeridad. Tanto la dueña del restaurante, como su propia hija, recorrieron todas las mesas conversando con los comensales, deseándonos una agradable velada y poniéndose a nuestra disposición.
Los platos son sabrosos, las pastas buenas y abundantes, no así el lomo, y hemos observado que para otros comensales el mismo plato fue más abundante.
