We were on our way home and trying to find something quick for lunch. We spotted DQ and stopped in. DH and I both got burgers and our friends got the steak finger basket and chicken finger basket. When I saw their food, it made me wish I had ordered one of them. There was nothing wrong with the burgers; they were great but those tender baskets looked yummy!
Food was on par for DQ and service was good, although there was one young lady who worked there that was either having a bad day or just wished that she was somewhere else. That being said, it didn't really bother us. Our food was hot and fresh and that's what matters most.

There are lots of menu items to try, but my absolute favorite meal is the deep dish Sicilian supreme pizza. It's hard to find a truly deep dish pizza these days, but this monster fits the bill. Not only is it huge, it's piled with meat and other toppings. You won't come away hungry.

Read about this place on TripAdvisor. It was also recommended by our hotel that called to make sure they were open. It was excellent food! We had Weiner Schnitzel (breaded pork), Jaeger Schnitzel (breaded pork with mushroom gravy) and Currywurst (sausage with ketchup and curry powder). All had sides of German potato salad and either sauerkraut or red cabbage. We even got a slice of black Forrest cake and a pretzel for later. Very friendly chef and waitress (only 2 employees) who took the time to visit with all people in the dining room. If you're anywhere near vidor, you MUST stop by!

Let me start by saying that I tried this place because I was looking for a good Chinese restaurant and from the reviews I figured it was worth a shot. The young girl at the register was very polite. I placed my order to go and it was ready in @10 minutes. I ordered chicken and broccoli, fried rice and fried pork dumplings. The dumplings were about the same as anywhere else I have had them. The chicken and broccoli is good but there is not a lot of flavor and the fried rice just looks like white rice with a sauce on it, not much flavor either, I was hoping for a few vegetables or something in it but no. Overall it's average but nothing I would go out of my way for

If you want ambiance, don't go there. If you want fantastically smoked ribs, and friendly service, hurry there! Walk thru the parking lot and you can see the smoker. Walk inside and the aroma of 'cue wafts thru the air. Marvelous. It is a small kitschy restaurant, right next to the railroad tracks, with sort of a railroad motif, old car plaques, and knick knacks all over. There are around 6 tables inside, and more outside under a roof. Quick, friendly service, and your order is up in minutes. The ribs I had were very meaty, the french fries were hot and crisp, and the pork and beans were flavorful. Nothing fancy, it was served up on a styrofoam plate, and the drink in a styrofoam cup. Utensils in a packet, and plenty of paper towels on a roll on the table. It was a great meal for $12.75. Now that's why I go to a restaurant!

Hushpuppy is really good if you like fried food. I don't eat much of that, but I would lick up their green tomato pickles off the floor! Seriously, they are THAT GOOD! They also have some really good shrimp and fish, and they cater.

Fresh Ingredients, bold flavors, simply authentic. Try our sizzling fajitas.
We tried this place based on the reviews posted, so we are baffled as to our experience. Our meals were basically heated up TV dinners, which arrived at our table lukewarm; the cheese in my enchiladas wasn't melted. The chips were stale and the salsa was canned. The service was even worse- staffed by high school students laughing and socializing in the back, ignoring the customers. Save your money and time and eat somewhere else. If I could have given this place zero stars, I would.

Been going here since they opened. Very good grilled catfish and fried wontons. Also, the Lo mein will feed a family of 3 easily. Very nice, quick, and never had a problem.
