Il Panzier Restaurant rated "excellent" by 63 travellers Sicilian home made cuisine, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free friendly
This lovely restaurant offers a great choice of vegetarian dishes. The lady- and also the cook- explains in detail the taste of every dish and also speaks some dutch :-) We had the pasta pistacchio and vegeatrian paradise, both delicious and fresh. Of course we also tried the white tiramisu :-) All in all, a great dinner in the garden with great hospitality of the owners. Grazie!

Only letdown this time was that the roof Terrace wasn't open despite it being a lovely sunny day. However, we once again enjoyed the freshness of the local produce and had the Gozitan platter of cheese, olives, capers, tomatoes and onion accompanied by fresh bread and also ordered some fresh cheese. All really delicious, washed down with a bottle of their own red wine. We bought some to take home in the shop downstairs. Such good value.

Lovely friendly efficient staff; very willing to please. Visited the restaurant twice during my stay in Gozo and the standard of excellence was high on both occasions Wide choice on the menu; I loved their "Cold Platter" as a Starter and Fish as a Main Course is highly reccommended

Visited last Saturday with my family. We enjoyed our evening in a warm atmosphere with, as usual, outstanding cuisine. Patrick's is one of our favorite restaurants to visit, always offering a nice ambiance, great service and a top class wine range. If you're planning on going on a Saturday evening, I suggest booking in advance to have indoor Seating. We booked late and were seated in the outdoor garden area which had a canopy and was heated. This area is a designated smoking area for diners, however our dinner was still enjoyable and we almost preferred the quiet and private Seating. Our choice of dishes for starters were Risotto, Fried Brie pillow, Salt and Pepper Squid and Chicken liver parfait. For main courses we chose Duck Breast which was fantastic, tasty and very tender, Fillet of beef and Tomahawk for two. For dessert we had the lemon tart, creme brule, apple tart and the special of the day, the bread and butter pudding. Well done Patrick as always! To enjoy a real steakhouse, don't miss out on this restaurant. They know how to get top quality meat cuts and know the secrets of cooking them to perfection!

From humble beginnings as a Sandwich bar in 2008, Mo's has evolved as Gozo's top all year lunchtime diner, providing fresh, made to order snacks and meals at unbeatable value and quick service. Firm favourite with locals and visitors alike. Outdoor Seating available.
My family and friends used to come here quite often as the food is good. Sadly, we came across one of the waiters several times who seemed extremely grumpy and demotivated. Now it reached the peak:
We reserved a table at the restaurant for today and we always used to bring our very well behaved dog. It has never been a problem for anyone except suddenly this waiter (elderly guy, never told us his name). The way for entering was blocked by three guys smoking, no way to pass - including this waiter I am talking about. I asked to please not block the way and pointing their cigarettes right on the people walking by. I managed my way through them and suddenly this guy shouts in a very rude, impolite manner to me I am not supposed to sit at a table with my dog?!
We will never (!) come again and will definitely not recommend your place any longer. Why should I suddenly keep out with my dog? Just because asking this guy not to block the way and not wanting to inhale all his smoke? Why should I come again when the waiter thinks he can shout at me?
End of story: We walked further on and went into another restaurant where we are always very welcome - and yes, also with the dog. Luckily, there are still so many other wonderful restaurants with waiters being all friendly.
I hardly recommend you to train your waiters better. You did not even find the time to reply to my message which I sent to you, so I have to make this complain public.
To the other guests: What is more disturbing for you - a well trained and polite dog lying under the table of another guest or people being grumpy and letting you inhale their cigarette smoke?
Regards, Lisa

We spent wonderful four days in Xaghra and Oleander was our favorite restaurant. It had a good menu offering daily specials featuring local fare to delight any foodie. Outdoor dining at night in this beautiful plaza was unforgettable. Don't forget to visit the Cathedral, the inside is not to be missed.

Pings Dining Restaurant in Victoria specializes in Chinese cuisine and also serves its clients with typical Chinese dishes they they ask for.
Have eaten here twice this week. The staff are very friendly and the food is served hot. We enjoyed all the dishes we ordered. It is a very clean place. Buffets are served at the weekends but we haven't tried them. Would recommend. Very reasonable price too.

Situated right on the water's edge and next to the statue of St. Andrew in the fishermen's area of the bay, The Boat House Restaurant is ably run by Joseph Attard and his wife Rose. It has established itself as a must visit restaurant when visiting Gozo by Maltese and foreigners alike. The location enjoys the warm Sunshine on winter afternoons and romantic sunsets. The choice of starters and main courses is endless. On top of that, there are the 'Specialities of the Day'. The fish display is a clear statement about the freshness of the daily catch. All items on the menu are prepared with ingredients of the highest quality. The selection of in-house desserts is tempting. The Wine List includes a large variety of local and foreign wines to please all wine lovers. Service is professional, fast and efficient but not rushed. Open for late lunches. The opening hours listed on this page are valid from 1st April up to 31st October. More detailed opening hours on website or facebook page.

We had come over to Gozo for a couple of days and on our first evening, we decided to dine close to our apartment and chose Cafe Jubilee. In the afternoon, I had popped in to look at the interior, and having seen that it resembled a French bistro, chose to eat there that evening.
We were not disappointed. The very friendly waiter, Senad, recommended a mulled concoction, made with rum and apple,
starting the evening off with a smile. He and Krystle, the other waitress, could not have been more helpful, or cheerful. We ordered stuffed marrows and rabbit stew, both of which were delicious, and then shared fig ice cream, which was excellent.
Wine was followed with very well made Irish Coffees, and then Senad appeared with a platter of salami, capers, and crackers, on the house.
We both thoroughly enjoyed our evening, made extra special by the warmth of our servers.

La Stanza Restaurant is situated in a 400 year old farmhouse in a quiet outskirt of Victoria enjoying a vast view of the historic fortified Citadel from its Terrace. La Stanza is not just a place in which we work, it is our passion. We want you to feel welcome, relaxed, special; in traditional and atmospheric surroundings with attentive staff. We want your experience to be enjoyable and memorable. We believe that dining should be an experience to remember and truly enjoyed. We want you to love to dine!
La Stanza has been a favourite of ours for a few years. It excelled when the chef was German and the front of house a Frenchman. It has since changed hands and is now an 'Italian restaurant' even serving pizza. Nothing wrong with that but last night we tried the new owners for the first time. The highlight of the evening was the young girl who greeted us and saw us to our table on their wonderful Terrace. Nestled under Citadella the Terrace has great ambience and stands out as a distinctive feature.
The waiter (owner?) was disinterested and unhelpful. No specials of the day and no interest in his guests. We had scallops (three tiny ones) and what can only be described as a bruschetta as entrees. For 20 euros these were way over priced for what they were. As mains we had a fillet steak and and prawns. The steak was generous and prawns were OK. The potatoes and vegetables were ordinary.
I do not think they once visited the table to see how things were going. The price with one beer and a soft drink and one espresso was in excess of 80 euros.
No longer a favourite - sadly.
