The restaurat is simple inside, the architecture is fantastic, not as well kept indoors as outside, the fenced window is just gorgeous. The fish dish was outstanding, flavours blend delicately. We also shared some pasta which was homemade. A bit expensive. I highly recommend it.

His story: On July 4, 1886 born Club Arts and Crafts, which summarizes the feelings of a group of young and enterprising people, who dreams of developing her love for the arts, music and crafts. Such is the passion of its members who, lacking its own headquarters, they begin to meet in private homes. By 1913 the club begins a new stage of life. The Steering Committee, chaired by Angel Balbi, resolves to acquire its own building at the intersection of Alem and Bartoloni streets. The home opens on February 28, 1914 and is today-precisely where the restaurant is located - Grill "The Jockey". In 1919 two parcels of land adjacent to the club, with the aim of generating greater convenience for members acquired. The ambitious project includes the creation of a two-storey building with ballroom and conferences; lounges and reading; presidency and meeting room, and even a room to practice fencing. The work began in 1922, but unfortunately remain unfinished. Later, the construction of a tennis ball works out to paddle against the beautiful, century-old Magnolia, which is inaugurated on May 24, 1927; place where big tournaments with the best pelota players from Argentina are made. In 1945, the Arts and Crafts Club becomes the "Jockey Club", chaired by Dr. Juan Carlos Basaldua, who by then occupying a seat in the Senate of the Nation. Also on hand for "The Jockey Club Victoria" is erected on the outskirts of the city, a dream: the racetrack "El Ceibo", which becomes a riding center of great importance. The May 18, 1991, under the 1202 ordinance, the Honorable Council to rescue the community property of the Jockey Club as an historical, architectural, landscape and cultural heritage of the city of Victoria. All these memories are treasured in "The Jockey", which preserves its building characteristics, making it a "place with history"..
We had to send every dish back, due to the fact it came out ice cold, the place was packed and there was not enough Waitstaff, so everything took forever, overpriced, just terrible.
