New York Style Deli Sandwiches, Hand cut Lox, Breakfast Served all day, Bakery with fresh baked Bagels, Rye Bread
The biggest problem about Rein's is what to order. Should it be the brisket and gravy over potato pancakes? The soup with kreplach? Corn beef on rye with cole slaw and spicy mustard? I'm getting hungry typing this! The menu is expansive and the wait staff is helpful and fun. Expect a wait during peak meal hours, but the line does go fast. Just wish it was closer to where I live. On second thought, maybe not. :-)

This restaurant always has a varied menu. We had the brie antipasto and the eggplant caponata, Followed by the Caesar salad and a scallop dinner. The meals were plentiful and tasteful. The presentation is always outstanding. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. Drinks and the meals are on the pricey side but you always get what you pay for.

For appetizers we ordered both the lamb and vegetable samosas. These abundantly filled, tender pastries where beyond delicious. Entrees included lamb Rogan Josh, tandoori chicken, lamb biryani. All the dishes exceeded our expectations. Tandoori chicken was moist, unlike most restaurants serve. However, The standout dish was the lamb Rogan Josh. This is by far the best Rogan Josh I’ve ever tasted. The amount of lamb was worthy of being called a dinner entree... unlike many Indian restaurants where you rely on rice and sauce to fill you up. Service was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My friend and I had been craving "fancy donuts" at school and came across this place online. In a pretty sketchy plaza but the donuts were fantastic! Nice and soft, however the woman working said their best seller (honey dip) sells out within a half hour to hour of opening! This is no "donut crazy" but a nice treat (and not a Dunkin donut). Also only $3.09 for a half dozen!! Overall worth the trip!

La Brioche Bakery makes great French Breads. Nice a crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They make three to four different shapes along with rolls. The ingredients in the breads all seem to be the same since they taste the same. They also offer a variety of pastries.

Yummy!!!! Great salads, pizzas, and calzones!! Nice atmosphere and good service. Very relaxing place to eat. The pizzas are all wood fired with a thin crispy crust. Love the toppings too. Tuscan chicken pizza is awesome!!

Stopped in on the way through town based on a friend's recommendation. The homemade hash was outstanding and did not disappoint for a second. Service was speedy and most pleasant with plentiful hot coffee. Did not care so much for the potatoes as I would have preferred them to be a bit more crispy. Flavor would have been a bit better for my palate.

We hate rest stops and fast food. When we leave Maine in the afternoon for NYC, we stop at the Vernon Diner as it is off 84 and provides the wide menu that is quintessential diner. Great service from the waitresses. Their soups are outstanding. This is a great place to take a break.

I've been here a few times recently to get together with friends, both at lunch and for dinner. The service at lunch was better but mostly because it was not as crowded. Service was fine though.
There is a large menu with mostly not overly healthy options, especially if you are gluten free or don't eat mat but there is still plenty to choose from. The portions are satisfying and price reasonable. The drink menu is great.
There can be a wait during busy times but there is ample waiting room. They also have outdoor seating and sometimes, valet parking, although that's not really necessary.

Monet's Table is my absolute favorite place to have brunch on Saturday. With so many great breakfast places to eat in Glastonbury, driving to Tolland has to be worth the trip. And it is!! Monet's Table is situated in a beautiful house surrounded by amazing gardens. The atmosphere inside is classic New England, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. Each room in the house has it's own unique charm. The buffet menu includes eggs, omelets, pancakes, etc., prepared with seasonal herbs, vegetables and fruits. At my last visit, I ordered a pancake special that was oatmeal pancakes with blueberries and chocolate. Totally decadent!! Monet's also brews my favorite Harney and Sons Tea...Paris. My schedule does not permit me to go for lunch; however, I am sure that the food is just as good during the week. A friend of mine hosted her daughter's bridal shower at Monet's and she said that they were great to work with, and everything was perfect!
