Good flavors using high Quality ingredients for a fare price. Close to the old Town Hall and on the old market @ the corner with the theatre.

We went to Cafe Restaurant Central after work for dinner when travelling to Venlo. The service was good, they had a decent selection of beers on tap and the food was great. I had the duck and it was wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant to all crowds of people. We stayed in the bar but my understanding is there was a formal dinning room upstairs. Great place to eat.

This is a very good, unpretentious fine-dining restaurant in the center of Venlo with an enthusiastic, attentive staff and a chef who prepares hearty, accomplished meals full of flavor. The cooking is traditional Dutch/French, generously proportioned and delicious. It's not a trendy place but everything is prepared skillfully and the staff loves food. In that sense, it's a typically Limburgian restaurant with the joie de vivre that typifies the province.

We were connecting trains in this town during our journey and found this place to relax a little bit. It's cool, very laid back atmosphere, great service, drinks and prices. It's funny how we skip so many nice places in our lives just because we don't have their hometowns on our map, until train schedule changes it.

We go to this restaurant quite often. The food is of high quality and the portion size is very good. The restaurant is runned by a very friendly Greek family who creates a real cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. The restaurant is located in the middle of the city center.

Welcome to the world of Valuas. A world in which you, as our guest, are the centre of attention. A real source of enjoyment, which has something for everyone at every moment. Each day our entire team aims to offer an optimum experience. We do this with plenty of passion and with a smile. You can feel that we genuinely love you! We would like to welcome you to our world.
This is a special place at a special spot at the river Maas. The Terrace is great with a view over the river shielded by a glass panel. We had dinner (party of 4) in the 'real' thing (they have a brasserie as well). This is seriously good food, made to perfection by people who love to cook. We took the option to go for all fish and it was just great. The accompanying wines were fine. Service was impeccable. This is the second time I dined here, and I have not been disappointed.

the place is absolutely nice...especially during spring and summer, when tables on the nice outside place are palced and you can enjoy a lovely dinner outside.
Food is very special...i would say delicious, especially prawns ad fish in general.
Staff is very friendly and I would say also selection of wines is pretty adapt to the kind of food and the restaurant.
The Chef is also the owner and the attention he uses to preprare every single meal is absolutely of a five star restaurant.
Perfect location for a dinner with friends, with colleagues and with your beloved even thought not much privacy is guaranteed since the dimension of the place
great

A quaint little restaurant with Seating indoors and some tables outside along the boulevard. Great service to help translate the menu and make recommendations, but you can't go wrong with the Riijstafel but a good range of tapas style food to try too. Friendly ambience but note credit cards were not taken at the time of visit, so have enough cash just in case. Look forward to the next visit!

While the hostess spoke to me in English, and the service was pretty good all around, if you don't speak Dutch, you may struggle to understand the limitations of this all-you-can-eat place.
Basically, you choose up to 5 dishes from the 130+ on offer, tick in the first column of your menu, fold it in half and stand it on its side. The dishes are brought (in rapid fashion, usually) to your table.
You get 7 courses (of 5 dishes per course) which you must complete within 90 minutes. Any dishes you don't finish, you will be charged extra for (unless you simply don't like it).
I tried the octopus salad (which was the only disappointment), along with sweet and sour prawns (excellent), a dozen different types of sushi (which was pretty good), deep-fried crispy chicken (had this 3 times), calamari (batter too thick), and a variety of salads. In total I managed 20 dishes and couldn't even contemplate visiting the serve-yourself dessert bar.
All in all, this is superb value for €30 including two soft drinks and a coffee.

This pub has a quite religious feel...decorated with religious statues and paintings. It's quite cozy though. There are quite a few beers on the menu and special ones on the tap. I had a beef stew for lunch, which was delicious (served with bread).
