Es un local muy típico, muy familiar y donde se siente uno muy a gusto. La comida es excelente por elaboración y calidad, aunque no debemos esperar encontrar "nouvelle cuisine". Ni falta que hace.

Visited for lunch yesterday beautiful air conditioned restaurant bright & airy. Can't believe I've not visited before now!! The food was amazing we had a Tuna salad then a mixed shellfish dish like a modules Marinere which was beautiful! We then had a plate of fresh prawns & a plate of mixed fried fish. The food was all presented well & was so fresh & flavoursome we were delighted to say the least! The waiters were very friendly & the service was excellent can't wait to visit again thank you for a truly amazing lunch!!

My husband and me visited this restaurant on numerous occasions and it always has been brilliant. On Sunday the 19th of October 2014 we went for lunch with 10 friends. Kids had a great time in the huge swimming pool as well as getting splashed by the see waves. Restaurant is just by the sea but not on the beach as massive rocks separate the Seating area from the water line. Views are splendid and so is the food and service. The best fish baked in salt crust ever. Be prepared for a wait. To cook fish in a salt crust takes about 45 minutes to an hour. While waiting for it to be cooked you can have some of the delicious tapas or starters like prawns in tempura or spinach fried balls. When fish is ready the waiter brings a side table to your table, breaks the salt crust and fillets your fish in front of you. The result is a very moist flesh of the fish really good. You could have dorada (sea brim), lubina (sea bass) or galupe (red mullet) Our fish came with patatas al pobre which are slowly fried potato with onion and pepper. We also ordered large plate of grilled vegetable to share. Highly recommended. Bare in mind that at the moment this restaurant is only opened for lunch Wednesday to Sunday

this restaurant was a great find on our last evening it has a large outside Seating area and being set away from the beach is very reasonably priced the a-la-carte menu is sea based so there is a very limited meat content it is hugely popular with locals so and early (9.00pm) meal is advised, real food well cooked

Excellent place we visit quite often. Although people complain they do not like Belgium beer (this is a Belgium place with matching beer obviously) and that the Steak Tartaar was raw (what a joke: it is supposed to be raw!), we never have anything to complain about. They have my favorite beers, Luc is an excellent cook who knows what drink goes best with what dish. Yes it is high priced for here, but worth it every time.

Thank you to The Proprietor & His Son, for another wonderful evening with our guests (and Balt experts) the other evening. We are very pleased to report that our guests who are from the 'Birmingham Balti Belt' have given their various Balti's a 'ten out of ten' !!! How good is that in sleepy old Torre del Mar. Whilst writing, may I thank the staff for finding ans keeping my wallet safely, for which I had given up hope after searching the last few day's?

On a visit to Torre del Mar we found this by chance looking for somewhere to have a light lunch. Good selection of Spanish tapas and wine by the glass. The staff were very friendly and the place had a great atmosphere, clearly very popular locally. Would go there again if we were in the area.

Had an ok meal here. Did what it said on the tin! My husband had fried fish with chips. I took the spicey mussels. Thought they would have come with a sauce but were stuffed. You could not taste the mussels only the stuffing.

The food here was wonderful. So good in fact i think we returned twice during our week-long stay. The staff were always friendly and helpful, as our basic Spanish was was simply not good enough for some of the more obscure items on the menu. Everything we tried was excellent, but the Basque-style fish something special. And everything was very reasonably priced.

Have been here on many occasions and are always impressed with the warm welcome and great food.The staff are friendly and efficient and the restaurant has a very good atmosphere.We will certainly return.
