Great drinks, great food. After a long day of driving this is the place to be. Rooms are on the small side but everything is clean and comfortable. Staff is very welcoming. If I ever drive through again this is the place to be.

Recommended by the hotel and she was right on. Casual, informal, inexpensive, good food. Chicken fried steak, corn on the cob, garlic potatoes, green salad, greek salad all good. About $40 with tip for 2, split the chicken fried. Nice selection of Texas wine. Odd thing, their house wine is from California (Sutter). Really? A definite go back. Easy to log on to wifi.

Chuy's is a family owned and operated Mexican restaurant that was opened in 1959. Come visit us. We offer homemade Mexican food, service, and great atmosphere. We have been called an oasis in the middle of the desert on several occasions. <br>Many famous people have eaten at our establishment over the years. John Madden named our restaurant as the "All Madden Hall of Fame" in 1994. There are many other celebrities that have visited us and you can see pictures of them on our wall as you walk in. Every customer that walks in is a celebrity to us. Come on in sit, relax and enjoy our variety of Mexican and domestic beers, margaritas and drinks.

The salsa was quite good and the chips were light and crispy. The chicken enchilada was actually pretty tasty, but it goes down from here.
The Chile rellenos was clearly stuffed with “American cheese,” that horrific cheese-food-product that should only be served from a spray can directly into one’s mouth and never mixed with actual Food. I ended up eating the Chile and skipping the heavy-duty breading (it looked like a corn dog) and cheese.
The Hub has the beef enchiladas and said they were ok.
We finished with the flan, which was also ok—on the granular side, rather than creamy.
Not a great experience, but this is a pretty remote area. Mom’s Kitchen was closed, which we were excited to try.

Stopped for the night and wanted to take out some food and eat in the room. RJ's is a mile or two away and is a nicely decorated little restaurant. We ordered at the counter, everyone we met was friendly, and food came out hot. Chicken sandwich with a side of mac and cheese for me which was pretty good, but was served on a hamburger bun. I would have preferred a more crunchy roll. Wife's Quesadilla was great and, should we find ourselves in this town again, will certainly go back.

When we pulled off the highway in Van Horn, we thought we’d have to settle for a chain restaurant. We lucked out with this little restaurant, tucked away on a rustic residential street. Just $4.25 buys a huge chicken burrito that’s bursting with homemade flavor and chunks of pepper. Service is cheerful but not fast. Make yourself comfortable on a bench in the lobby and watch the locals trooping into what looks like their favorite spot for a comforting meal with friends or family.

Stopped by for an after dinner frappachino, odered, paid and then waited 10 minutes for the drink, but only after asking how soon til it is ready, did it get made. Manager said no one made it. There were only 2 customers in the restaurant

It's difficult to write a review of a Subway because essentially they're all the same but I'm leaving this review because in this particular case the service was extra smart and the food of an even better standard. It's what you'd expect from Subway but if you complain when they get it wrong you should give them a pat on the back when they get it right.

If you're looking for a great place to eat great food I would recommend Mom's Kitchen! I loved the asana and the atmosphere of eating at my grandma's home! Food was amazing and cooked fresh with wonderful flavor.
The ladies that were there are amazing, so friendly and helpful!

This bagel place is pretty awesome. We had a big group of 11 people and everyone was happy with what they ordered. I got the Philly Steak sandwich and really enjoyed it. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the bathroom was clean.
I recommend anyone to stop by and check it out.

This place is located inside a Chevron station. I went here since its close to my lodging.
I ordered the chicken fajitas. They were good, and tasted a bit more like New Mexico cuisine, which is common for this part of Texas. The meal came with rice, refried beans, guacamole, and lettuce/tomato. Good sized portions.
Cook/clerk was a bit slow on the take, despite no other pending orders, but the food was good and the price was reasonable. I'd try it again.
