Valldemossa is a village and municipality on the island of Majorca, part of the Spanish autonomous community of the Balearic Islands. It is famous for one landmark: the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa, built at the beginning of the 14th century, when the mystic and philosopher Ramon Llull lived in this area of Majorca.

The property has a special appeal, making it a must stop for the good eater, plus over 40 years of experience make it an ideal place to enjoy your delicious, fresh fish from the area of Valldemossa and the Lonja of Palma. Our restaurant features a marked maritime style, offering a cozy dining room for the winter months, and offering a large Terrace with beautiful views of the coast of Valldemossa. Also noteworthy for its delicious specialties and its privileged locaclización, on the coast of Valldemossa, is added the fact that it is a key point in one of the most attractive routes in the coasts, frequently visited by thousands of tourists and sports enthusiasts, in addition to enjoy your passion for nature and the outdoors, revel in our delicacies. If you enjoy a friendly atmosphere and want to enjoy a good meal with all the good sea and land.
Of course to eat with that view 5 stars.
The food is also good, maybe 4 stars but that's the right place where to eat during your day at the beach.
Advice: if you want to eat in a table with great view just try to get a reservation before

Easily missed restaurant because of its name as "hostal" on a rusty plaque above the doorway, an upstairs restaurant which opens around 8pm in the evening if the waiter can get there on time. Homecoming by el chefe . There is no point looking at the menu. The rushed-of his feet Fawlty Towers like waiter rushes from table to table tell customers in German or English what the chef is cooking tonight. The portions are enormous. We had suckling pig and roast lamb and the waiter asked us what part of the animals' body we wanted. We pointed to the leg. We each had an enormous leg of pork and lamb each. Followed by "salami chocolate" and a huge bowl of cherries. All with a good Mallorcan bottle of Blanc de Blanc from the Ferrer vineyard for £60. Great entertainment and great food.

Can Costa is located in an old farmhouse outside Valdermossa and oozes rustic charm.
Staff were fantastic and the menu options delicious and very generous! The suckling pig, lamb shoulder and steamed fish were all superb.

We were quick to return here on our return trip to Mallorca. We had the suckling lamb, Jake and salmon between us. Children had Bolognese. Service and food were exceptional.
Disappointed the children's play area was closed (and cleared of apparatus) due to a refurb....but can't fault them for improving the facilities.
Cannot highly recommend this enough.

Valldemossa delights our senses with its classic and innovative cuisine. The extraordinary quality of its dishes combines the best local and international ingredients. Haute cuisine techniques and presentation are mixed with tradition and love; the trademarks of chef José Rodriguez. A carefully designed menu and dessert list are perfectly complemented by an extensive collection of wines. The restaurant is part of the magnificent but diminutive Hotel Valldemossa. Beauty, tradition, rusticity and elegance are seasoned with exclusive cuisine. The stunning views across the olive groves, orange orchards and the valley of Valldemossa is the ultimate complement.
We'd not visited Majorca for a number of years until early June 2016. Luckily we hired a car & decided to pay another visit. A beautiful place & a lovely car journey to get there.

Cappuccino chain boasts everywhere their own charm, music and style. Thus we like to visit it either for coffee or to eat. Good drinks, good drinks, nice location. Good place to stop and sit in Valldemossa!

A well deserved TA top-3 in this amazing town. Wonderful food in a very picturesque square. As far as restaurant settings go, this is is one of the better ones: centrally placed, dreamy look, nice outside furniture, a square for the kids to run. Great for some people watching and just taking in the quiet pace of life.
As far as food goes - the same. I had a duck on a bed of rice, and even though I am not the biggest rice eater in the world, that one must have been one of the best I had ever tasted. Same goes for all other dishes that we took, including the kids menu, which was original and done with great care.
I agree with some comments that the service could be a bit warmer, but what we found was that if you approached the situation respectfully and with a smile, there would be no issues. The level of English is not too high, tho go, so speak slowly.
Recommended.

On our last night in Valdemossa we had a lovely meal at Sa Mata. Nice Majorcan dishes and topped off with a wonderful seafood paella. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Restaurant was busy through the night and staff welcoming. Nice end to a wonderful family holiday.

QuitaPenas is a place located in the most romantic part of Valldemossa where you can taste, enjoy and purchase, local products and wines of the island. Find us behind the Sant Bartolomeu's church and discover the "Quitapenas effect". Please note that reservation is not required and we only can accept groups up to 5 people.
This is a tiny, but beautiful restaurant at one end of the charming village of Valldemossa. Literally only a few tables inside, and cushions on steps outside. The restaurant offers only local produce from small farms - olives, honey, olive oil, meats and cheeses, and wine. The only non local thing is the San Miguel beer, but it is served so cold, so they can be forgiven for that.
The restaurant serves just one dish - fantastic bread with local meats, sausage, and cheeses. Doesn't sound too exciting, but it is all totally delicious. We were there quite early in the evening, so it was not yet too busy, and this gave us time to talk to the owner, a charming and friendly chap who talked with great passion about his business.
Great, simple food, 2/3 drinks each, and all for under 40 Euros.
A lovely evening, and would recommend a visit.

We will be closed for holidays until thursday 17 dicember
This restaurant was recommended to us by fellow diners in a tapas bar. We are glad we took their advice and that we got a table at short notice. The cooking was imaginative and very fresh. Service was excellent and friendly. The house wine was good. The dishes that we had were squid and organic chicken stir fry. Both delicious and obviously cooked by people who cared. The desserts were also first class and different. Recommend the lemongrass cream. Overall a really good reasonably priced meal.
