Read that this place had good comfort food, and we weren’t disappointed. My husband had the meatloaf dinner. He said it was delicious. They also offer a meatloaf mac and cheese as well as lobster mac and cheese. I️ tried the chicken and waffle which was very tasty. The weather was cold and windy, and the dining room was small but cozy. The service was very prompt. Craft beer selection is good but mostly bottles. We will return.

Summer won't be complete unless you get a cone, sundae, shake (FRAPPE) or other ice cream treat at JJ's. Good prices for generous servings. Featuring Richardson's Ice-Cream - best around with one of the widest selections of flavors.
Ask them for a Chocolate shake/Frappe with chocolate and peanut butter sauce if you like Reese's peanut butter cups. Great servers at the window - tip them well. Outdoor seating only - how else would you eat ice cream?

We go here for breakfast sandwiches. LOVE THEM! They have so many to choose from. They are made fresh, and are always delicious. We have also gotten the flavored ice coffee, which also was great. I would highly recommend this coffee shop. Very busy on Sunday mornings, (this is when we usually get our sandwiches). They also have lunch items.

This past Friday (Jan 5th) we tried Alicante for the first time. This restaurant is a hidden gem to those that live outside of the Mendon/Milford area. Highly recommend this venue.
We'll be back in the warmer weather to experience this fine restaurant outside...
It's worth the drive to the little town of Mendon.. You will not be disappointed

Had a great brunch this morning with my daughter (10 yr old). She got fried dough French Toast (what’s not to like). Wait wasn’t bad. Fun atmosphere, staff, big menu, delicious hash browns. Price very reasonable.

I'm a true New Englander but sorry, Dunkin's isn't for me. I love Angel's because in addition to the best coffee around, it's a super nice group of people working there who make it a point to make you feel welcomed. Great muffins, pastries, etc...MoreThank you Matthew for your awesome review! We are so glad you have become a regular customer and enjoy our coffee and muffins. We look forward to seeing you soon and thank you again for taking the time to review Angel's Cafe!

This is the best place around to get donuts. While there is a chain shop known for their coffee nearby, get your donuts here. They are the best. They are bigger and better than elsewhere. My husband loves the Boston Cream; plenty of custard filling and chocolate frosting. When we go to visit our daughter who lives 4 hours away, she always requests we bring Jumbo jelly and cream donuts. I often call ahead to have some put aside and if they don't have any, they'll make some up for me. I can't comment on any other breakfast items since I've only had their donuts. Nice people run this shop too.

This WAS famous pizza several years ago.So much has changed in the last few years. Start with the crust, it was so much taster. The sauce was sweeter without being to salty. The pizza had a greater helping of cheese. And as for toppings , well somethings wrong when you get more eggs in a carton then pieces of pepperoni on your pizza. The hamburg pizza use to have more than the amount of a hamburger, now it's just a freckled amount. There are better places around the corner or in the next village.Sad to lose a memory of a Famous place.

This is a fun place with a great menu that is friendly for those of us with food allergies. The food is very good and the service was good too. They have a whole gluten free menu and the kitchen is open to the restaurant so you can see your food being prepared if you like. It is a little pricey so you might want to save it for a date night.

Specializing in Classic Italian with a modern influence, creative daily Chef specials, from pizzas to fresh pastas, Arturo's has something for everyone. From celebrations to business meetings, to corporate and private catering, we are your go to local dining destination. Private dining available.
We have been to Arturo's a few times over the last year and went back last week for a quick bite coming away with the same impression: solid traditional italian food in a pleasant environment. We shared a Caesar salad and a spicy sausage and peppers pizza with italian beer and red wine, and all were good. I have had better pizza doe with more flavor in the crust, but the toppings were tasty. The atmosphere in the large restaurant is pleasant, but with the tall ceilings and the bright ceiling lights it not a cozy atmosphere. Service was good, and the restaurant seems well managed. Easy parking. Altogether a very good value at less than $50 for our whole midweek dinner, considering how many restaurants out there think they can justify $30 main course prices. We did not try the pasta dishes, but will do so another time.
