PILGRIM'S is a small restaurant set in the rural village of Rosscarbery West Cork. Serving a seasonally crafted ever-changing daily menu. Our dishes are full of lip-smacking punchy flavours that are designed to share among the table. Bringing together (our favourite) tastes from the growers and wilds of West Cork. Come eat, drink and have a good time. Open Wednesday - Saturday 6-10pm, & Sunday 1-4pm
It's a year and a half ago since my first visit here. I posted a very positive review then. I've been back several times. It's clear it wasn't just a good or lucky day of the chef when I Visited first.Every time when I'm lucky enough to get a table (booking more than a week in advance is advisable) I'm surprised by the standard the chef is able to keep up.The flavours are so full, pure and fresh that they don't only fill the mouth and the stomach, but it just fills me with joy from head to toe.

The Church Restaurant is located in the heart of Skibbereen Town in West Cork, it was originally a Methodist Church from 1833 to 2003. Steeped in history and character with lovely stained glass windows and high wooden ceilings, The Church Restaurant is open 7 days a week serving a variety of locally sourced produce. All beef & meat served in this restaurant is of Irish origin and purchased in the local butcher shop. Fresh fish comes from the local shores of Union Hall and vegetables are purchased daily for local suppliers.
One of several visits here but first for a lunch menu as we usually go in the evening. The choice was great as usual and we both went for Baked Hake with a herb crust with mashed spud and veg. It was delicious! Portion size was good - we were unable to fit a dessert in. We enjoyed a good quality house red and the service was great! Atmosphere was fab and we left the restaurant happy and full. Cheers!

Visited the Riverside recently for a take away lunch. Really lovely. Had the goats cheese and roast veg crust with homemade soup. Delicious and reasonably priced especially if your a solo traveller. Next time will visit for a full lunch. Had a look at the menu lots of local produce there and a great wine list available.

This is a pub which doubles as a proper restaurant rather than offering pub-food. The food was excellent: straight-forward, genuine Irish cuisine made from fresh local produce and seafood, well prepared. The service is quick and efficient, as usual in Ireland. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed.
An excellent place, a little bit off the beaten track if visiting Baltimore but well worth a visit.

Went her first about eight. O this ago and it was excellent! Good service but most importantly excellent food. Red caggabe to die for, excellent garlic potatoes, wonderful vegetables and interesting meats-stuffed chicken etc. Been there a few times since and every time it seems to have gone downhill more....mashed potatoes lacking in taste, over roasted potatoes, and even today the vegetables looked like they were instant and frozen! No real taste to anything on the plate. Really sorry to see what was good go downhill so quickly! Woman behind the counter just slashed the potatoes on top of everything-a short lesson there would not go amiss!

We popped into Apple Betty's on a visit to West Cork and just loved it. We had basic stuff with just soup and sambos and it was gorgeous. Really lovely staff and very helpful . Spotlessly clean and one thing that I really thought was nice was a notice/poem in the loo about mental health and to speak about things. In this day and age it's good to see a small business doing this. A really lovely cafe

The crab starter was divine. The rib eye steaks lacked the texture that I normally expect. The side salad was minimal. The veg were nice but covered in too much dressing. All in all, a good meal but not a great one. Deserts were excellent. Would go again

The Coffee Shop in Union Hall is a friendly, village coffee shop, with in-house bakery which produces delicious cakes, spelt scones, quiches and other delicacies available to order. Stone-baked Pizzas also available on Friday and Saturday evenings.
We had an amazing lunch here following a very successful whale watching trip. (Been Pier is five minutes up the road). This is a really special place- a beautiful colourful light filled interior - but what makes it really special is the home baking by chef Billy. Home made Paninis, Pasties- an extraordinarily nice Veggie Pasty ( no lard in the pastry which makes it super light)- Cakes and Scones and a wide selection of drinks. Pizzas on a Friday and Saturday. Billy's wife- the beautiful Jessie, an accomplished musician, welcomed us all with characteristic West Cork warmth. You'll leave feeling like you've made friends for life...

Enjoyed a nice lunch here. Staff friendly and seafood chowder was delicious. Just the job after 6 hours on a boat!
