Just stopped there at the end of the day. We ordered 2 pizzas that we received in 15 minutes. Pizzas were quite good (not Wow) and we decided to take one more. Pizzas are big, especially Pizza Alegria (almost a half kilo!)
The staff is supportive and friendly. We recommend this place, if your expectations are not too high.

Hidden gem restaurant just a short drive from the salt caves if Turda Nice courtyard, wholesome food, friendly service but it is a touch slow. It's ok for a relaxing long lunch but otherwise one could find the waiting time a bit annoying.

Me and my friends stopped at this restaurant because it was righ next to the main road, and wanted a quick lunch on the way home from a long journey. It took 15 minutes till the waitress came to our table to take the orders. They don't speak ANY foreign language, and also the menu is only available in Romanian. We tried to order by guessing the names on the menu. After that it took another 30 minutes to get our drinks, and more than 1 hour to get the food. We ordered pizzas and soups because we thought it will be fast to deliver. The soups arrived later than the pizzas! The plates were quite dirty, not to mention the the toilets. I've got one advice to everyone: avoid this place!!!

Our cultural coffee-shop is the best choice if you are looking to relax.Situated in the town centre with easy parking possibility, close to the main public transportation service, we offer a rich choice of coffees, lemonades, soft drinks, beer, wine and tasty sweets. The daily newspapers, books, free Wi-Fi, quality music, board games, excellent guest service are just some of our strong points. We organize film- and theatre-projections, host debates, artistic-cultural related talks and offer the possibility for artist to exhibit.Being a non-smoking coffee-shop we keep special seats in the smoking room and on our balcony for those, who can not imagine their coffee without smoking. The name of the coffee house originates from the famous bow ties Ion Ratiu wore. On the Romanian political scene, the bow tie will for many years be associated with Ion Ratiu, with his clarity of vision, his blunt approach, his impeccable manners and his sartorial elegance - according to some - "the best president Romania never had". Initiated by Pamela Ratiu, Executive Director of Ratiu Family Charitable Foundation to Romania, "La Papion" generates sustainable revenue to support programs and projects implemented by the Ratiu Center for Democracy.
For sure one of the best places to have breakfast in Turda. The location is convenient, near to the city center. The food was very good, the cappuccino could have been a litlle bit better, but all in all it was a pleasant experience. The...MoreThank you for your review and nice words. We just stopped in for coffee, but noted that it offered food and other drinks as well. I wasn't quick enough to notice and stop the barista from making a cutesy design with chocolate in my cappuccino, but the coffee was good.

An interesting menu, with some local dishes. A bit fat for my taste, but something usual in the Transilvanian area, I understand.
Place- well designed, pretty for the eyes :)
People- ok. Services can be better- for instance, clearing the table faster when you need space for your next dish and the table is full of plates.
Recommendation: serve also water on the house, if possible. I think the potable water in the area is better tasting than the tap water from other geographical areas.

The cafe was conceived as a Seating corner, where to give rein to imagination and let yourself be carried away by dreams and desires, away from the daily routine.
Definitely the best coffee and cocktails in town. The serving is done by specialized barista and cocktail bartender. Prices are very accessible. Must visit if you're in town.
