We ate lunch here on a weekday, specially recommended for its mole dishes (chocolate based sauces). We started with some great Margaritas. The food was delicious, generous introducing new flavours to my palate. The sauce doesn't actually taste of chocolate but it's in there somewhere! It's mixed with lots of other spices. The decor is interesting too - see my photos. A relaxed friendly atmosphere. Very reasonably priced.

We visited Wisdom’s in Tumacacori again last week and had another great experience. The margaritas were the best, the atmosphere was terrific, and the food was outstanding. This time I had the bacon wrapped shrimp to save room for the desert burro. Both were excellent.

We usually stop here when we are in the area. They have good pastries, pies, and sandwiches; pleasant atmosphere. Sometimes they have "day old" pastries, if they are our preference, we generally take some home. It is the only pastry shop between Tucson and Nogales.

Let the wife walk her feet off at the Tubac Shopping area while you sit back and enjoy some light beverages and maybe a pastry or sandwich. There is indoor as well as outdoor seating and you don't have to get in any hurry. There coffee is great and so is the cheese danish.

Providing the best service and food for over 21 years. Come enjoy fresh salads, seafood, 1/2 lb Angus Burgers, bistro thin crust pizzas, pasta and gourmet wraps
Our repeat visit to Tubac, a wonderful artisan town with shops ranging from high end to craft art is always fun. We punctuate our visit with a late lunch at Shelby's Bistro. The airy out door is a great place to sit after a few hours of walking. A good beer list and a short but nice wine list are a good start. Our server, Denise did a great job all around and we were happy with her knowledge, service and promptness. Ann had the Mediterrean pizza but the Kalamata olives strong. I had the hangar steak sandwich which was coked perfectly to order, generous and truly a full lunch. Kathy had the chicken salad on Naan, also good she claimed. Pricing is very reasonable. We are looking forward to another visit to Tubac and will again do lunch at Shelby's

The service, decor and the views were great. The food prices were a little high, and the portions were too large. My club sandwich was big enough to feed two. Sharing will cost you $5.00 for the extra plate so know that going in. I...MoreThank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We look forward to your next visit.

The market even has household items, plumbing, electrical, paint and hardware items for small home improvement projects. With a large patio and inside seating the market is a great place for family gatherings, a business meeting or just to meet a friend for coffee and a fresh pastry from the bakery or a nice enjoyable lunch made to order from the deli. With the great Tubac weather the patio offers year round comfortable seating and dinning, while the inside seating offers a great place to escape a hot day or to watch an afternoon Monsoon move through the valley. Overall the Tubac Market is a great place to eat and shop and has a lot to offer both the locals and the travelers.
Every small town should have a Tubac Market. While it is a small market, they are well stocked with a good variety. Noteworthy is their soup & salad bar, as well as fresh pastries in the morning along with a service meat & deli counter. They also have a nice variety of wines with fair pricing.
We have always found the service to be both good and friendly. While we are considering a move to Tubac, having the Tubac Market nearby will influence our decision.

Tubac Jack's, one of the oldest restaurants in Tubac, has an eclectic menu of BBQ, Mexican, and worldwide favorites such as steaks, salmon, salads, burgers, pulled pork and, of course, our world famous green chili stew. Jack's has a huge patio to enjoy those beautiful southern arizona days and evenings, as well as a full dining room and bar suited for any size party. We have Johnny Bencomo playing his 18 string guitar every Friday night from 6-9, and a rotating list of bands playing on our patio every Saturday night. Jack's offers catering for parties large and small, take out, and a huge selection of craft beer and cocktails.
First visit to Tupac - what a marvelous little community...galleries, jewelry, pottery, gifts, and fun restaurants - what fun! Tubac Jack's is a perfect place to rest a bit, have a beverage...and relax. Before enjoying more of what Tupac offers.

We ate here twice over a weekend. The first time was a Friday night, which was taco night. There were choices of beef, pork, shrimp and veggie - $5 each. Between the 4 of us we had all of them and everyone was pretty happy with their meal, nothing fancy but pretty tasty and 2 tacos is plenty for a meal. There's an interesting cocktail list and we were all quite happy with our drinks as well. All in all a nice dinner. We were excited to go back for Sunday breakfast. We ordered eggs with bacon, potatoes and toast. There was only one other person there and our orders took forever. When we were finally served the food was lukewarm and there was only one piece of seriously undercooked bacon. At least the toast was good (Dave's Killer Bread). We were very disappointed.

Orders are placed at the counter in the small dining room, so if you want to eat outside one member of the party should grab one of the limited number of outdoor seats, while the other orders, and visa versa.
Some confusion with the orders, as the adjoining table had also ordered a tamale slider. 1/3 of the way through the meal, we all realized she had one of our plates, and visa versa. Note tables very close together so you can't help but hear adjoining conversations.
Size of tamales larger nowadays, so one was more than enough. Filling very tasty, but the chicken was overcooked and dry, not sauce.
