L’Unico Trattoria started life as a small BYO in 1994. Set in an Idyllic location on the waterfront at Trinity Beach about 20km north of Cairns, the word soon spread, and L’Unico quickly became a regular dining spot for tourists and locals alike. In 1997, after three years at Trinity Beach we moved just 400 metres further along the beachfront to take advantage of even better ocean views and new, larger premises complete with wood-fired pizza oven and cocktail bar.
Great spot by the ocean and so much more relaxing than the more touristy nearby Cairns with its hustle and bustle.
So easy to relax for a leisurely lunch , both inside and outdoor Seating, with a good range of seafood and pasta options, gluten free is offered although it does cost anther $3

The restaurant has poor lighting, little decoration and the ambience is disappointing. The place does takeaways and so people are coming in and out all the time. The waiter (who may have been the chef had a T-shirt and shorts and we initially thought he was a tourist.
That said, the menu is good, the food portions are large and the food is very good and tasty. If you are a Thai fan, well worth a visit - oh and you have to ask for chop sticks.

A family friendly italian restaurant serving only the best local produce. Italian food with an innovative twist. Enjoy al fresco dining opposite beautiful Palm Cove beach. Dine in or takeaway. Fully licensed bar. Restaurant is available for functions and off site catering.
We stopped here on our way to Port Douglas. It is a lovely setting overlooking the Cove. I thought the prices were very reasonable compared to other restaurants at this location.
We ordered 2 chicken salads and they were very well prepared. The service was very good and I would recommend for a nice quiet lunch.

Chill Cafe was really handy during our stay, just across the road from our accommodation. We went here for happy hour (Mates Rates) one afternoon, and lunch another day.
Service was very friendly and quick, and the menu had a huge amount of delicious things to choose from!
Especially good were the lamb sliders, and the waffles. The waffles looked beeeeeautiful and the taste matched up!
Also perfect view across the road right on the beach, can't beat that.

This is the Centrals AFL Trinity Beach Sports Club
This restaurant inside the local sports club is fantastic.
Smart and modern, very clean and spacious with a daily carvery and other meals to choose from, fish dishes especially good.
First though, take out membership. $5 annual subscription (3 years if over 55) and enjoy a substantial discount on food and drinks at the bar. I got my cash back the same evening I joined.
Good quality meals at very reasonable prices, the club part has poke machines in a separate room and tv coverage of sports above the bar. There is a weekly raffle for members and also a local courtesy bus leaves on the half hour throughout the evening dropping off and picking up,you need to ring to be picked up and wait on the street.
Live AUSSIE rules football games are played in the large sports field outside the clubhouse with outside Seating for "al fresco" dining and drinking.
A welcoming club well worth a visit"

Ate here twice whilst in Trinity beach on holidays. Had lunch first time and it was really good choices, fast service and tasty food. Ate dinner here too and ordered the hand stretched pizza. It was delicious. The other two in our party ordered the steak with a lobster tail on the side. Both were impressed. We couldn’t believe the total price for the bill, it was so cheap. Great views overlooking Trinity beach too.

What an incredible experience! My friend and I enjoyed the 7 course tasting menu with paired wines. It was truly impressive. The service was outstanding and great explanations were given about each course and the wines. The food itself was spectacular. There were such clever combinations of favours and the beetroot kangaroo was a real standout. It wasn’t cheap and I had wondered if the wine pairing for an extra $91 was going to be worth it, but surprisingly it was. I would highly recommend
