We held our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at 7West Bistro Grille in Towson, MD this past December. Boyko Tachkov (Managing Partner) and his staff provided a truly wonderful evening for our families and friends. Boyko helped plan a wonderful rehearsal dinner and took a personal interest in meeting our wishes for the dinner, atmosphere and many extras! Our guests thoroughly enjoyed their meals and serving was family style which allowed many to enjoy their favorites with second portions. If you're looking for an event venue, 7West Bistro is a great choice.
We will definitely visit again next time we are in Towson!

Serving classic Persian cuisine, including kebobs with basmati rice and meat stews (khoresh) and Middle Eastern fusion dishes, including Paella and seafood, in a relaxed, elegant and tranquil atmosphere of Persian carpets, a running window fountain, and traditional Persian and French music. Local artists and musicians are regulars at our small restaurant, and business is brisk on Fridays and Saturdays at 7pm. We have been in business since 1988, and strive to offer our diners the best food and service for the best possible price.
How wonderful to find a Persian restaurant whose chef is willing to adapt recipes to accommodate my special low sodium/no salt dietary regimen. Since most dishes are made from scratch, the task was not so difficult yet yielded tasty cuisine with other appropriate spices and flavors. I was given many choices and opted for an appetizer of Haleem Bademjune that features eggplant and beans with pita triangles. It was topped with a yogurt center and was more than enough for the three diners at our table. Other diners ordered and enjoyed the Mango Pear salad while I ordered a chicken dish that seemed to melt in my mouth in a sweet pomegranate sauce. Thought I was ordering the garlic eggplant sauce but another version was presented and the taste was divine so I ate most of it. The traditional rice was beautiful and plentiful though perhaps I should have asked for the crispy bottom, a real delicacy as I recall from my experience in Tehran and in the kitchen of Persian friends. Would love to return though it is quite a trek from my home in Bethesda. Nonetheless, should I be in Towson, it will be worth a second visit for sure. You have to know where it is because this strip shopping center is hidden off the main road.

We met friends here for dinner last night. Upon arrival, we waited quite some time before the two gals at the hostess stand turned around and noticed us. Our table was in a corner and we were jammed up against another table. There were 4 of us with enough room for 2 - there was no room on the table with the bread plates, bread basket, etc. Our waitress seemed attentive at first. Then, she would disappear at crucial times. She forgot to bring one of our drinks. We had finished our meal and were ready for a check, but she was no where to be seen. When she finally showed up, she said "Oh, sorry - I know I was gone for a second." Between feeling crowded and waiting on our server, it wasn't the most pleasant experience. We probably would have ordered dessert & coffee, but were beyond that by the time she came back to check on us. The food itself is very good - We had the brussel sprouts appetizer, which is truly to die for. The pasta of the day was excellent. It appears, though, that all of the staff are college kids & their laid back attitude doesn't lend itself to a fine dining experience.

Went for dinner and had the Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle and Mee Krob Lad Na all with shrimp. Also had the Happy Tofu and Fried Corn Fritters for appetizers. The vegetables were very fresh and the meals were excellent with very generous portions. The service was very friendly and we really enjoyed the live music duo that was playing. We will definitely return to try other items on the menu.

Beautiful setting in a Towson high rise. The wedge salad was presented well, with a wonderful blue cheese dressing. The crab cake dinner was good....nice size Maryland style crab cake with a creamed corn side. Nice table and service. Complementary free parking.

This is a very convenient restaurant in the attractive Towson Town Center shopping mall but with a main entrance right on Dulaney Valley Road, about two short blocks from the Cinemark Theater.
The restaurant has lodge-style stone walls and a large fireplace, wooden booths and candles on every table. It is nicely lighted so that it’s romantic and yet light enough to read (how many restaurants are too dark to read a menu??)
One comment I hope the restaurant will read: they said they serve the beers in ice cold glasses, so I ordered an IPA...which was served by another person in an Unrefrigerated glass. I mentioned the cold glass promise and she said “this beer is served in a regular glass”. When the original server came back I told her and she politely apologized and said she’d bring a new one (my beer had probably gained ten degrees already) and said that yes indeed they did serve different beer in different glasses and some didn’t come refrigerated.
So this tip to beer lovers: whatever beer you order here, be sure to specify “I want this in a refrigerated glass even if you normally serve this particular beer in some other glass.” Strange this is necessary but it is.

The Cheesecake Factory offers something for everyone featuring a wide variety of over 200 menu items prepared fresh to order each day, plus over 30 legendary varieties of the Finest Cheesecake.
I apologize in advance for the lengthy comment but the service was so bad I felt the need to be very detailed. I've been to Cheesecake Factory countless times but this occasion was horrible. The waiter was unprofessional and manager (Brian Magnani) wasn't any better. I went to the restaurant with a friend for brunch. Everything started out fine but went downhill quickly. The waiter took our order; we ordered almost identical meals. I got a waffle with no pecans and no powdered sugar, a side of bacon and breakfast potatoes. My friend got a waffle with no pecans and no Chantilly cream with a side a bacon. Easy enough so i thought. The waiter wrote our order down but didn't repeat it back and asked if we wanted bread, we stated yes. He brought a bread basket with only 1 loaf of white bread. When the waiter passed by a few moments later I asked him why he didn't give is any of the rye (brown) bread to which he responded "it wasn't ready when I got your basket"; strike 1 as he could have told as that when he dropped the bread off and offered to bring it as soon as more rye bread was available since the table next received both breads. That was a minor issue. When the food came out both waffles were wrong, one was completely plain and the other had powdered sugar, Chantilly cream, and strawberries. Of course we send the waffles back. The waiter then comes and ask "can you give me your order one more time", mind you he had already wrote our order once but we gave to him again. That was strike 2. Even after getting the order a second time he still read it back incorrectly at which point I asked to speak with the manager. The manager Brian Magnani came over and apologized for the waffles, asked us what we ordered (third time we have given our order at this point). The manager said he would have 2 more waffles sent out the correct way. I made a complaint about the waiter not writing down the order correctly or repeating it back, I also advised him the waiter seemed a little distracted and disorganized. The manager leaves and about 10 mins go by. We have eaten most of our sides at this point and the waiter comes back over and to our surprise asks for our order yet again!!!! Strike 3! I'm slightly annoyed at this point as we aren't asking for anything complicated. We give our order to the waiter a third time. Mind you we were told over 10 mins ago that waffles would be right out for us but he comes to take our order which means the order hasn't even been entered again. We continue to wait another another 15 mins (25 mins since our food came out wrong the first time) and I get the manager as he walks by. At this point I have eaten my bacon and potatoes since I'm hungry and my friend is trying to save his bacon which is now cold. I ask the manager what the hold up is and why we gave our order 4 times between the him and the waiter. I also complain that now my meal is segmented since my sides are gone and my friend's side is cold. He replies that he planned on taking care of the bill and giving us new sides as well. I ask when he planned on telling us that since we are just sitting at this point. I advised that communicating with us would have been key since we really have no idea what's going on. The table next to us even commented several times on how long our food was taking. About 5 mins after we talk to the manager the second time our waffles comes and surprise surprise... the order is still wrong! At this point I have given the order 4 times and it has been brought wrong twice! The manager comes over and I tell him we are leaving and complain about the service. I also advice that I will be writing the corporate office. The table next me chimes on my complaint as well.
I have never experienced such as issue with Cheesecake and I was quite shocked. The waiter was incompetent and couldn't get a simple 2 person order correct and the manager didn't know how to handle a disruption in service. I attend restaurants on regular basis and this has been the worst experience I can remember. I will definitely be sharing this negative experience with my friends, family, and co-workers. Please improve your service Cheesecake Factory as this was pathetic.

The location get overwhelmed by people, but at the right time of day this place is a lovely change of pace. Go in the off hours to experience it, or call order in ahead and pick up then go sit in park or mall courtyard and eat it.
