We’ve been here several times when shooting in Thousand Oaks. Great place right off Malibu Canyon Drive. Food is always wonderful. I prefer eating outside to inside. Service is excellent. Waiter insisted that one of our ‘well done’ elk tenderloin orderers go medium rare. He’s usually adamant but she was insistent...and right. He really enjoyed the elk. We brought old wine and the sommelier did a great job with the difficult corks and enjoyed a taste of the wine, an old Pinot. All of the game is great. Salads were fine. THe sweet corn soup is amazing. Don’t miss the Maple Johnnycake although I’d order it for dessert. All in all this is a different look and feel than most other places in and around LA and well worth the relatively short and beautiful drive.

This little place is delightful to visit when you come back from a hike in Topanga State park and are thirsty and want a little snack or something along these lines. the waiters can be a little slow but hey L.A.-people: it IS Topanga, hippie-country so leave your pushiness at home!!

A French-American Bistro in the heart of Topanga. Join us for lunch, dinner and Sunday Brunch. Live Music weekly!
Nice French inspired food, low key and not too sophisticated but in the wonderful area of Topanga Canyon. The owner is a jazz musician and organizes live music sessions on the patio during the week and for brunch on the weekend.

This is a neighborhood gathering place. The pastries are delicious and everyone is welcoming. Mimosa is the best place to hang out in Topanga by far.

In spite of the fact that I can't eat sweets, this is the most adorable shop in the world, very much a "Disney main street experience", girls in cute uniforms..bright pink ambiance, candy, treats, ice cream, old fashioned candy in jars, in an incredible fantasy atmosphere..give them props for being so creative..first one in Los Angeles, which is in the new Village at Westfield,Topanga. What I love is none of the other stores are open yet, but this one is in full swing, giving free samples, open for business. This AM I went to the mall early for my daily walks at 8AM and Sloan's was open for business..nice job and love the cool chandeliers..really appreciate their creativity..welcome to L.A. Sloan's!!

Amazing location, worth trying to get a reservation during the day to maximise this. We ate at night so we missed out. Great food, our host tailored our set menu to our taste - meat, fish and veg. We have eaten in many Michelin starred restaurants (in the UK) and it was tasty but not quite up there with the best. Trendy place to go, but a bit more style over substance and thus pricy for it.

Pedalers Fork is a lifestyle concept that seeks to incorporate great food, cycling and awesome coffee into one location where all are welcome. We are a farm direct restaurant partnered with 10 Speed Coffee Roasters from Hood River Oregon, serving craft beers, a fresh bar, and a boutique cycling shop in Calabasas, CA. Here at Pedalers Fork, we believe that good food begins with amazing ingredients. Because of this, we have worked tirelessly to find and build relationships with the best local growers and ranchers. The quality of our fruits, produce, meats, and fish enables us to craft dishes that highlight the true flavors that are inherent in the respective ingredients. No matter the meal, we want our patrons to walk out of Pedalers Fork feeling whole, healthy, and a part of the community we are building.
A place that tries to be too many things can often fall into the trap of doing a bunch of things just OK, and nothing really great. Pedalers Fork is a prime example of this unfortunately. is it a coffee shop? A bike store? A breakfast/lunch place? A restaurant for dinner? A bar? This ambitious spot tries to be all of these things. The confusion is first encountered with their website, which I visited this afternoon as we looked for a place to have dinner.
Once you arrive, the situation never really clarifies itself. We were seated in the bar at a tall table with a couple of TV's on without sound as the Olympics were on, and music ruled the room. No problem with that, as the music was eclectic. We were told no seats outside left under heaters, but once seated it was clear that there were several there. Strangely "reserved" signs were on some outside tables although they remained empty throughout our visit.
The menu is ambitious with a good vegan set of offerings sprinkled through it. Our entrees were very average. The sandwich was dry and very unimaginative. The whole chicken very dry and plain. Appetizers and salads were better, but marginally so.
A sandwich, a half chicken, a salad, some hummus, and one glass of wine each and the bill comes in over $80. Now I appreciate that good food costs money, and if you check my other reviews it is never about the cost of a good meal. The experience at Pedlars Fork didn't come close to living up to the cost on our visit.
The space is a very pleasant setting and quite large. The outdoor patio is very nice. I may give it one more go and stop by when out on a bike ride during the day and enjoy what must be a casual vibe. If we are going o ut to dinner though, this is not a stop we would make again. There are better options in the area for the price.

A new look for topanga. Home made bread and pastries. The menu is diversified for all types . Everything from great egg and meat dishes to vegan. It's been over a year now and has been evolving to a solid go to place . Total modern remodel in the last year

I had been driving for Uber and was getting hungry. Marmalade always has generous servings and fine service. This time, I ordered the Spicy Chorizo Eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes (and I specified crispy). Everything was as it should be. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the chorizo was spicy, as promised, and my potatoes were crispy. My server kept my coffee cup topped off and I was happy.

A friendly restaurant with a good choice of food. My husband had lasagne and I had meatballs with spaghetti. Both dishes were tasty but not outstanding. The house Chablis by the glass was good value for money in comparison with other restaurants.
