Was not aware of so many different places to eat. The Cafe was the only one open. Was instantly greeted by Cynthia behind the bar. She was a fabulous help with my choices

Toledo's Finest Steakhouse! Established in 1921 and under third generation ownership! Mancy's specializes in USDA Certified Angus and USDA Certified Angus Prime Steaks that are aged and butchered on premise. We are also known for great seafood! We buy the best Foley's Fresh Fish, Alaskan King Crab and Australian Lobster. Also, our steakhouse's atmosphere is filled with mahogany woods, interesting art and Tiffany shades from days gone by.
My wife and I hadn't been to Mancy's in a number of years and decided to go for our anniversary. Pretty mediocre, and nothing special. The waitress was very good and attentive, but the steaks we ordered were not as good as I remember from Mancy's in the past and a number of other restaurants we have been to recently.

The Café and Patisserie are open for breakfast, lunch and petit four style deserts. The Café is a restaurant with a small bakery inside.
It was our first visit and when we asked our server Kathy for suggestion she suggested the cafe Reuben and it was DELICIOUS!!! The food was wonderful topped only by our service. We will definitely be back for the food and kathy!

Toledo's original Brewpub located in The Oliver House.
Amazing historic building. Creative and fun decor. A menu with a wide variety. A quality selection of micro brews. We went on a Friday night and expected a wait. The hostess stated 30 minutes and we waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. All the while 12 tables sat empty due to lack of staffing. Our waitress and meal were great. The turnaround on the food was extensive to say the least.

I consider Shorty's the best BBQ in Toledo. We have always had excellent service and food at Shorty's. I ordered the grilled Salmon with baked beans and coleslaw. Salmon was grilled perfect, nice and tender with a slight grill on the outside. The baked beans have chunks of meat that added to the flavor. Coleslaw has celery seeds to enhance the flavor. I sampled my husbands "dinosaur bones" as we fondly refer to them. He normally gets the full rack and takes home half. He can't get enough! We ended the meal with caramel cheese cake. Very tasty!

Tony Packo’s gained world-wide fame when M*A*S*H character Corporal Maxwell Klinger, who was played by Jamie Farr, another Toledo native, made mention of the Packo restaurant in six episodes of the show. In a 1976 episode, Klinger says, “If you are ever in Toledo, Ohio, on the Hungarian side of town, Tony Packo’s got the greatest Hungarian hot dogs.”
Nostalgia here and great service! Had fried pickles and peppers and authentic hot dog with Packos IPA. Had stuffed cabbage with Great Lakes here a few nights ago. Connie is a truly awesome bartender. Kinda sad I can't make it a regular place since I...MoreThanks, Dan! We feel like perhaps it becomes more of a treat for our guests who can't make it in to visit us too often - and we certainly look forward to each and every time they can join us.

They have an extensive menu, but very short operating hours. Be sure and try the garbage salad. It's wonderful!!!! Sandwiches are huge and delicious!!! Nice place for lunch, but seems to be always crowded!!! The food is 'something different' than most places. Give it a try.

Rockwell’s is a great restaurant offering excellent steaks, but we prefer the coziness and comfort of the 1st floor lounge where you may sit at the bar, at high tables or, our preference, in big comfortable leather chairs. The regular restaurant menu is fully available and most times we just split a soup, salad & entree. Last time we shared the cheddar beer soup, the Caesar Salad and the sirloin steak with crab cake; everything was delicious and hot. There is a full bar with an excellent bar tender; drinks are strong. We find this is just a perfect place to enjoy a well prepared dinner in a quiet & casual , but sophisticated environment.
