Family owned Authentic Mexican restaurant nestled in the back of the Woodlands. We have been in business for over five years, serving the Woodlands community. We pride ourselves in nothing but the freshest ingredients to execute our authentic flavors of Mexico. If you are looking for true Mexican food, and not the Tex Mex you see all over Houston, then search no further! We also cater special events, and have live music on Saturday evenings.
I love this restaurant! It is consistently good, especially the chicken verde enchiladas, the chunky guacamole, and the fajitas. The service is great and the local owners always come to check on us and make sure we are happy. I highly recommend this as a local favorite.

We hadn't been here in a few months and were pleasantly surprised to find that the best-organized pizzeria in town has added more salads and more pizza combos...along with pasta, sandwiches and desserts. Still family-friendly but with beer and wine if you want them; not as many kids as usual, but there's always a few and sometimes many.

Featuring flavors from Texas and influences from the South, The Republic Grille offers traditional and distinctive mouth watering dishes. Enjoy our award winning Chicken Fried Steak, Southern Style Shrimp & Grits, Blackened Flounder topped with a Crawfish Sauce, Bacon Glazed Quail, Double Cut Pork Chop, Certified Angus Burgers and much more. On the lighter side, try one of our many unique and scrumptious salads or if you just want a nice bowl of soup, our Chicken & Sausage Gumbo will surely hit the spot. Complete your meal with one of our homemade desserts each served with a scoop of Blue Bell Ice Cream. While customers rave about our Bread Pudding, the Pecan Pie and Oreo Chocolate Cake aren't too bad either.
We received the most outstanding greetings from the Hostess who seated us. That was followed by the same, along with outstanding service, from our Waiter Mario C. The ambiance was great; noise level a bit too high. That’s difficult to manage.
We thoroughly enjoyed the onion soup, coconut shrimp and chicken fried chicken, with mashed potatoes, County green beans and white gravy. The meal and experience were a total WOW!!! We will surely return.

Wife and I went for the first time the other night. On the whole we were satisfied however we felt slightly underwhelmed.
The biggest plus is the quality and choice of meat. Really really good meat and perfect cooked. Another big plus was the service, well the waiting staff (felt the meat carvers were a bit quick and didn’t describe what they were offering). We were given the wrong wine and didn’t notice until first sip, but this was quickly corrected and without fuss.
On to the slight negatives. The market buffet bar is ok, but I expected more if I’m honest. Thought more seafood would be available and also the salad choices were a little limited. Another minor negative was the decor/lighting. It is so bright inside, and this makes it feel a little cheap.
We’ve tried it and enjoyed the majority of it, however we’re not sure we would return?!

The Pappas Family knows how to run a restaurant. Their take on a Cajun is good and this location is a good example. Good food, friendly service in a clean environment is always a winner. Recommended.

So delicious we had to go twice! I've been to New Orleans, and this restaurant transported me right back, The food is exquisite, the staff is incredible, you felt like you were talking to old friends the minute you walked in. Our waitress recommended the smoked crawfish, and it was the best thing I've ever had, the gumbo was great, and the etouffee was incredible, the spices were just right. I wish they had other locations. They are definitely a reason to have me return to Texas! This place is a must!

We invite you to escape to Truluck's. A getaway for the senses. Come savor the freshest Crab, direct from our own fisheries. Delight in our fresh-catch seafood menu or tender, juicy prime steaks prepared to perfection. For those with a passion for the grape, Truluck's wine program has been recognized with Wine Spectator Magazine's Award of Excellence. We look forward to serving you.
Visited Trulucks for an early Valentines dinner. Their bar area is vibrant and they have a good selection for the happy hour menu along with great service. We went to our table into the restaurant and were sat at a nice booth overlooking the water. Beautiful setting. We look forward to the Florida Stone Crab on Monday nights when in season. Our server, Garret, was attentive, personable and ensured we had an enjoyable evening. Would definitely ask for him again. Will not be making the drive to the city any more when it’s in our backyard. The piano player was excellent and in this location you can hear the music in the restaurant. Highly recommend.

The two of us went for our 40th anniversary. Early afternoon, Saturday. Not crowded at all, easy to get to and to park. Large portions. Split an appetizer, Dolmades (3). Try the Zeus Plate, a huge sampler, it has everything Greek you expect, took half of it home. Wife had the kabob plate, substituted lamb for pork (a small upcharge). Lots of meat, cooked to order, no fat or grizzle, excellent. Overall a very pleasant afternoon, not being rushed. Reasonable prices.

This was average Mexican food, especially after driving ~50 miles to meet with some friends from Conroe. Enchiladas Guadalajara ($13.95) and the Tito's Taco trio ($15.95) were our two entrees along with a cup of tortilla soup ($6.95). They are good at pricing items 5 cents less than the next higher dollar amount; a real savings for sure! Three beers were $13.25, about $4.50 each which is about average. The soup was good but nothing that would make is a star choice. The entree's are just too similar to what you can find at so many other Mexican restaurants in the Houston area. The waiter (Mark B.) was good and put up with us staying late (he got a good tip). Just not one that I'd go out of the way to dine. And to Trip Advisor, Halal food at a Mexican restaurant??
