Termoli (Molisano: Térmle) is a town and comune (municipality) on the Adriatic coast of Italy, in the province of Campobasso, region of Molise. It has a population of around 32,000, having expanded quickly after World War II, and it is a local resort town known for its beaches and old fortifications. Once it was known only as a fishing port, but in the new millennium it is a favourite resort for Italian families.

The 'Villa delle Rose' is an excellent choice; you will find very good and fresh fish, tipical menù in a high class restaurant. the service is very good, the price adeguated.

Family restaurant with 40 years of tradition in the heart of the old town, 1700's building, of Termoli, right by the Adriatic Sea. Specialized in raw fish, pasta's and traditional recipies, with a little international spice. Reservation advised with limited availability - private parties allowed.
I was surprised by the flawless service and freshness of the dishes in this ristorantino. The staff was very nice and professional and recommended us some dishes prepared from the freshest ingredients of the day. I have never eaten better tuna steak. Definitely recommend.

It's a small restaurant where we serve only fresh fish and try to make our customers feel at ease. We offer free wireless internet and accept the four-legged friends that in case of need, we can feed and quench. Our customers are free to consume what they want, even just a dessert (home-made) or a starter ... our watchwords? Relax and friendliness! :)
We arrived early in the evening after having scouted the other restaurants in Termoli, but what grabbed us about il Borgo was the unpretentiousness and humble atmosphere that the place had. We sat down and were greeted by our waitress (Tonya) who told us what was on the menu. Even though we speak some Italian, she catered to our needs and spoke slower or simpler when needed. We ended up ordering the set menu, which is 35 Euros per person, which comes with a bottle of wine, and 4 (!!!) dishes. We had no idea what to expect, other than the fact that it'll all be freshly caught fish.
The wine was perfectly paired with all the dishes we had, quite clearly due to the chef's sommelier status. We loved the wine.
All the dishes were served one after the other, we probably only had no food in front of us for a total of 20 minutes of our 3 h stay, and the food was amazing - we've very rarely tasted fish that was fresher, tastier and better cooked.
There was a table in vicinity to us with two children, and they catered perfectly for them, making two special dishes for the children even though they weren’t on the menu. We were very touched by that gesture.
When it started raining, the transfer to the inside of the restaurant was done very smoothly.
The service is impeccable, and the owner/chef himself walked around talking to people and telling them about the region, the food and Termoli itself.
Overall, we would like to say thank you (grazie) once again to the owner and Tonya, who made our stay absolutely lovely! We will be coming back again.

We dined on seafood that was very fresh and perfectly prepared. Service was very professional. Layout and decor of the restaurant are modern, imaginative and comfortable; tables are well spaced. Good wine selection. Prices are very reasonable. Overall a delightful experience.

Simple but charming restaurant close to the historic center of Termoli. The owner / host pampers guests with fast and attentive service. His wife manages the kitchen and whips out fresh and delicious dishes. Fish cannot be fresher than this, you truly can taste the ocean. Prices are very reasonable for the quality you get. Cannot beat Grottino if you are craving fish!
Ordered 1 fettuccine with mussels, 1 rombo al forno with potatoes, 1 stewed sole, 2 coffees - all for just a little more than 30 Euros. You would pay twice as much in Ancona (where I come from) for a comparable meal. And cannot get anything as delicious as this where I live (US) regardless of how much you pay.....

As a solo diner I expect to sometimes get a sympathetic/pitying look before being seated. I do not expect to be relegated to a part of the restaurant where no one is seated. Put up stairs out of the way I accepted my fate and ordered my meal. Yes it's a steak house but I didn't fancy stake so went for ragu. It was the most bland and boring ragu I've ever eaten and resembled dog food. Not chilled water or drinks was also a failing. All in all, very disappointing food and treatment.

You wouldn't expect great food here, but don't be misled by appearences: this place offers terrific seafood! We ordered antipasti misti and were served 3 cold and 3 hot starters, all of them excellent. Followed by great spaghetti vongole and shrimps ravioli.
Including a bottle of Greco from Molise's best producer Borgo di Colloredo, water, 2 desserts and 1 coffee, I paid 57 euro, which is a steal for this quality! Will be back later this week!

This was a dinner out with our relatives to celebrate a couple of birthdays. This was our second time to eat at this restaurant. The place has numerous choices for Seating. There is an open patio, an enclosed patio dining room, and an indoor dining room. The dining rooms and the Seating arrangements are all comfortable allowing for an extended traditional Italian mealtime. The owners have a well thought out plan for all guests. There is even a small outdoor playground for children. The grounds are also interesting with a nice parking lot and Gardens making great photo opportunities for those special family gatherings. There is never a rush to eat and get out. This place is all about eating and socializing. The food is great!! There are numerous plates that are served. Starting with the cheese and Italian cold cuts and other yummy appetizers. There is a choice of two pasta dishes followed by several meats dishes. There is always plenty of bread and lots of wine. We got a birthday cake but the first time we had a selection of Deserts to choose from. Of course there is always the fabulous cafe and a selection of cordials . The staff are terrific too. Serving the food quickly and with friendly and social connection to the customer. The cost for this wonderful meal was very reasonable. You will not be disappointed if you go to this restaurant. I love this restaurant!! Bon Appetito!

We ate at "Il mosto selvatico" while looking for a non-fish restaurant. I have an allergy to shelfishes and mussels and I generally feel sick everytime I eat fish.. This restaurant was actually advised by another restaurant as the best meat restaurant in town.
We had cavatelli (a type of pasta) with fresh tomatoes and caciocavallo (a local type of cheese) and meat (tagliata with parmesan and tomatoes and straccietti coocked with balsamic vinegar, parmesan and salad).
All the food was good, but nothing so special to make us willing to ho back.
They also have a wide range of wines, which we did not try.
The location is well kept, you can eat inside or in the street, as we did.
We had the impression they are not very keen om children, it looked like our doughters were a burden.
More expensive than average.

Visited Recchi last night for dinner. Waited over an hour for a table and at least 45 additional mins to get our order. All the staff were completely disorganized, rude, out of control. When our order was finally ready we had to go pick it up at the counter ourselves. Food was good and decently priced but not worth sacrificing an evening or testing your patience.
