In this pizzeria expect no meat ingredients! The pizza is very delicate and they are not overloaded with toppings, but all the ingredients are fresh and tasteful! Try the house couvert (ask for the cheese bread) they are delicious! They also serve during lunch time few home made pasta! The place has a casual and familiar atmosphere and a very good service and fair prices!

It does not only provide you with a delicious meal, but a great gastronomic experience.
The best homemade vodka. It's worth to take a bottle home!
The food is served in courses and prepared with excellence. From starters to dessert, everything is delicious. Great service!
The only bad thing is: no cards accepted and Reservations are required.
PS: try to have a chat with the owner, a lovely person.

Good value menu with excellent seafood - highly recommended. We went two days in a row.

The restaurant has a simple taste food, as it is your grandmother doing your prefered food, but you have to pay too much for it. As it uses simple ingredients, it shouldn t cost so much. The service too is a little confusing and you have to wait much for your food, as again there isn t nothing elaborate for justify the waiting. For this price, you can find a more sofisticated rest. or the same simple food for less money

people talk about this restaurant so I decided to give it a try. nothing special, basic food and environment. kind of disappointed given so much talk about it. however can't say it's a bad benefit/cost ratio.

Restaurante, Pub, Cervejaria. O Vagão Beer & Food conta com um cardápio deversificado com qualidade além de ser tematizado com um vagão original.
Dozens of beer labels, many of them exclusively found at this place, combined with creative appetizers. They just remodelled a train wagon and placed it in a very central spot in Teresopolis. Very good Menu and a cozy place for couples.Beer prices are between moderate to expensive, but you may also find other drinks very well prepared. Their pizza is not the best option, though. Good for couples. Large groups will not seat well, due to limited space.

The beer is great, especially the Red Irish Ale. Otherwise the food quality varies too much and the service is slow and miserable. At the prices charged, trusting to luck to get a well cooked meal is asking too much so will not return.Dear: Customer Feedback is key and helps us identify opportunities for improvement. We regret that we have not fully achieved the standard we wish to offer our customers. We hope to have the opportunity to receive them again.

Paraíso da Serra has an excellent buffet, with pizza rodizio and other great foods.
The lunch buffet is very rich, and Wednesdays and Saturdays there is feijoada in the buffet. Try the crispy shrimp with salad or with rice. Their desserts are also first class. Not to be missed.

This was our first visit to Don Phillipe. By 9pm the place was packed and there is no parking except in the street outside and this was already full at 7pm. Teresopolis is much safe than Rio but even so it is not a good idea to be wandering the city late at night so a taxi would be our recommended mode of transport.
My wife and I opted for the house specialty which is a flambeed cheese and spaghetti dish prepared by the chef at your table. You will definitely need to like cheese but if you do, you will love this. A starter of toast with pesto sauce is included with this dish.
Afterward, since everyone else in the restaurant was ordering pizza, we decided to share a small one between us. The quality was excellent and the choices varied. No wonder the pizzas are so popular here. The base is slightly softer than at Manjericao (house of pizza) but the fillings are more generous.
After this we were truly stuffed but still Monica managed to force down a desert!
The wine prices are very reasonable yet only ourselves and one other table ordered. Washing down food of this quality with Coke or guarana degrades the taste and is almost an insult to the chef. Please people, drink wine or water with your meal.
The service was excellent even for a packed restaurant on Saturday night and as this was our first visit the head waiter took time to explain a little about the food and history.
Nothing to do with the food or restaurant, but what also pleased us was that everyone, including the large parties with children, were all so smartly dressed. Mostly we see restaurant clients here dressed like they’ve just come out of the garden or a trip to the supermarket. Lovely to see.
Thoroughly recommended.
