This is a wonderful old time Main Street restaurant. We had hamburgers and their famous pies. The hamburger was very good and a little different than your usual chain restaurant. The real highlight though is their pies. We had a slice of banana cream and key lime. Both were excellent but if I had to choose the banana cream would win hands down. The prices are modest reflecting small town dining. The atmosphere is straight out of a simpler time when the downtown and the restaurants were the center of community life. When in Shawnee a must stop!

I went to the drive thru and ordered a half dozen donuts, including my usual choice of 2 bismarks with cream cheese and strawberry in them for myself. I got home and discovered that they gave me raspberry. I went back and went inside and told them that I asked for strawberry but got raspberry. They went and made me 2 more which AGAIN had raspberry. I told them I didn't have time and asked for my money back. They would not give me a refund but instead went and opened a new bag of strawberry to make me 2 more and told me they opened it fresh just for me.

This is my absolute favorite place in Tecumseh to go eat, but take note that if you go for BBQ, they always seem to run out early in the day, which seems odd considering we usually go in for lunch. I can't imagine running out that early in the day, and that often.
The atmosphere in the whole place reminds me of an old farmhouse, which I love, and is very homey and relaxing, and the staff is very attentive and friendly.
Again, I just wish they stayed open later in the evenings. By the time I've driven home from OKC where I work and we get up there to eat, depending on the time of year, they are usually closed, or closing.
I think they are a little pricey on their food compared to similar places, and considering it's in a small town.

I wasnt sure what to expect from a small town Chinese restaurant. I was very surprised. For dine in the food is served beautifully and the wait staff is very nice and attentive. I have done numerous take out orders and every time it is hot fresh and delicious. The owners are always on site and have always been friendly.

First off, the food isn't bad, I like the sweet taste to their sauces and they have really good Potato soup. Their service, odd hours and apparent indifference to their customers though, is just bizarre. I stopped going after a few visits a while back after they raised their prices (bowl of soup was almost $7 C'mon!). This place is run by small-town restaurant amateurs, and is only open part-time. It's an weird little place but considering it's Tecumseh, OK, that almost seems fitting.

I arrived less than an hour before close and there were still only two tables open! Here is the conversation with the server.
Me, "I believe you have street tacos."
Server, "4 tacos?"
Me, "yes."
A couple of minutes later the tacos arrived. I inhaled them and was licking the bowl. Interestingly, the sauce served with the chips was served warm. It was good.
I will be back!

Very good oriental restaurant. Great service. Large selection of dishes, including sushi. Lunch and dinner combos. I would recommend a chef's special it comes with an entrée, soup, egg roll, two fried shrimp, rice, and sweet sour chicken. Definitely get more than you can get.

It can be hit or miss with service speed. If you dine in the staff is very nice, but if you order to pick up at the drive thru.. Well you could end up waiting for 20 minutes to even get to the window. The fish is always good, but I usually end up making my own fries at home if I pick up. I figure why should I have to pay $2.50 for 1 order of fries, when I can go buy a bag of crinkle or steak fries for $2.00 and get multiple servings. The chicken chunkies are good.

We stopped in Saturday to grab a sandwich.... only ones there except for the two women working.... the girl that waited on us, was very friendly, while the manager worked on a long sandwich.... we come into this store often, and this manager is probably the most unfriendly person i have ever seen... put a whole damper on the visit... the young lady that waited on us was very friendly, but the glares you get from the other was hard to ignore.... don't know if we will go back.....

I am a truck driver and I frequent this McDonald's often. Every time I've been in they are fast and friendly. They have never gotten my order wrong. I've been there at all times of the day even during high school lunch hour and I am still amazed at how efficient this crew is. If only the McDonald's corporation would use what ever training and hiring they are using McDonald's over all would improve. Good job Tecumseh McDonald's crew.
