We never miss this special place when we visit the area. Very cozy, only about 7 tables. We love the table in the front window. There is an upstairs for big parties. Biggest variety of loose and bagged teas served in beautiful China pots and...MoreThank you for the great review, and thanks for visiting while you were in the area. The window table has become one of the favorites, nice stop to relax and watch the world of Tecumseh pass by.

We are an ingredient-driven destination restaurant featuring modern, Midwestern fare in vibrant downtown Tecumseh. Located just 40 minutes from Toledo and Ann Arbor, Evans Street Station was born out of love of family, community, and hospitality. We are a locally owned, independent restaurant and catering house. Our restaurant is one of just a handful in the state of Michigan cooking from scratch. We have developed strong partnerships with farms and producers throughout the area. Whether you are looking for a night out, cooking classes or for someone to cater your next special event, you've found the perfect place!
Have been going to Evans Street Station on and off for years. Always a great place for a nice meal. Food and service consistently good. Will return.

After a visit last year, we couldn’t wait to get their fresh pastry treats. YES, the Apple Fritters were fresh, as were the other items, & the servers were SO cordial & competent. BUT, the pastries had very little flavor; like eating a cheap one from the discount food store. Good Luck !!!

We are glad we read the reviews prior to going to this place because if they did not give us the details about placing the order at the counter, we may have left. The dinner we had was excellent, very filling, and really reasonably priced.

My family & I like to walk around downtown and after a good workout we will sometimes grab some delicious ice cream.
Service is a little slow but with only 2 people working behind the counter and a line to the door what do you expect?

I have eaten here before a few times and it's tasty and friendly. I use this now as a catering/carry out for athletic team dinners and banquets. The breadsticks are a big favorite with everybody but also like the pasta. Literally one of my favorite places that doesn't disappoint.

The food is not what it used to be. I loved it when they first opened. Fresh food, great portions large selection. They have since downsized their portions, downsized their menu, (They no longer serve their SIGNATURE pasta dish!) and their food is not always fresh. Homemade chips have been stale the last 2 visits. I visit there often for work lunches as well as family dinners but it is just Average now.

Best breakfast and lunch in Tecumseh. We specialize in omelets, skillets, and sandwiches but we have a huge menu that will satisfy anyone in your group. Fresh food served fast to get you on your way. We are open every day until 3pm and we are proud to say that the people of Tecumseh start their day with us!
The menu items include all the traditional breakfast favorites plus four versions of Eggs Benedict, Crêpes Benedict, Spinach & Feta Omelets. Lunch menu is served during breakfast hours for those looking for brunch. Food is prepared with care, presentation is excellent and staff is very courteous and friendly. City Limits is a half-block north of Main Street (M-50).

I dont mind spending a little more if it means good food and a good time out. But $37 for 2 mediums and the place is a dump!! Out dated furniture from what looks like the 70s. And the carpet is worn and frayed. Very uncomfortable being inside. Very low weird ceilings. The check out register is behind a weird low window in front of the kitchen. Very awkward. The pizza was pretty good. But not for the price and where is the money going with decor thats 40 years old.

My wife and I stopped in a few days before dining at Oriental Sizzling to ask if they used MSG in their cooking, and were told they did not. Based on that, we went there tonight for dinner, and were told by our waiter that they DID use MSG in the cooking. We had the older male waiter who was not friendly, made two mistakes with the order, and did not refill waters--we had to ask another waiter to do so. The food was generally tasty (e.g. the chicken with garlic and ginger), however the MSG seasoning was evident. My wife's white rice was congealed and inedible. Prices are reasonable.
