Loma Linda's will be celebrating their 60th year in business this year, when they began as a 'watering hole' for local migrant workers. This is the first restaurant where I had Mexican food, some 40+ years ago. Although it is now in a newer building, the food hasn't changed much. It is Tex-Mex rather than pure Mexican, with American cheese rather than Chihuahua being the standard on plates of Nachos and all other cheese topped dishes. The food is good, not great, but has been consistent over the years, which is an accomplishment in itself. My only disappointment on this visit were the margaritas, which usually pack a punch, but seemed to be only lemon mix this time, and just succeeded in giving me heartburn later. The prices are very reasonable, and they pack them in every weekend. Tip: if you want to get a table without waiting on a Friday or Saturday night, get there by 5:30 PM. The service is friendly and good, and the food comes out fast, so overall it's pretty good. I don't know if my tastes have become more sophiticated over time, as I've eaten in many Mexican restaurants all over the country, but Loma Linda's no longer has the appeal for me that it once did. Still, if you're in the area, it's worth a visit for lunch or dinner.

When we come home The Wings Station is one of our go to places. Service is always good and the food is fresh and hot. Prices are good also.

I have lived in Toledo for years and whenever I come to Swanton to visit my parents, chances are good I'm taking my family to China Garden. I've had Chinese all over the States, and this is a wonderful little place you would never expect to find so far off the beaten path. Nice atmosphere for inside dining. Pleasant staff, always very accommodating for my family with children. I've noticed the other negative posts, and honestly would say I'm surprised to hear that as I've been there numerous times with great results every time. I've also had carryout (they have a drive up window which makes that convenient, and my food was always just as delightful at home. Honestly, I would give this five stars if I'm only considering "swanton," but in consideration of anyplace I've been, it's a notch below the very best. They have a deep menu, so there is a lot to try and enjoy. I keep coming back to the Mongolian beef, emperors chicken and my kids love the almond boneless and general tsoa chicken.

We are a white stucco building, nothing fancy but worth the drive to taste our wonderful Broasted Chicken plus Home Made Soups. Our name sounds like a bar, but we are 85% food and welcome families.

At first we weren't sure, but the place had good food and great service, thanks to Amanda. It was freezing cold in there though and it looks like bar. I would definitely go back though. Good daily specials too and very reasonable.

This is our go to place in Swanton. We usually pop in at least once a month. The staff is very nice, the service is always excellent. The food is fresh and yummy, portions huge. And the bill is always small. I usually can't tell anyone I'm going without a group showing up. I'd also say their egg drop soup is the best ever! Their eggrolls are amazing!

Couple weekends ago friends introduced us to this roadside stop. Just get on Central Ave and keep going west to Swanton.
Large patio and nice patio bar too.
Drinks and food inexpensive. We had burgers and chicken sandwiches and everyone enjoyed them. I would highly recommend the onion rings if your into the large batter dipped. Certainly filling and fattening, but once in a while you gotta go for it.On the way out we did see someone eating a steak dinner at the bar and it did look large and appetizing.
Sunday nights they have live music and nice stage set up.
They do have well water, so a great place to go for Toledo area people if experience another water scare. Enjoy!

Everytime I am in Swanton OH I have to order a pie. Great Pizza, real toppings and a VERY GOOD PRICE. Fast service and delivery. I have never had any problems. This is a must have and they have locations all over the Toledo area.

Nice place for a quick homemade breakfast. The homemade cinnamon bread is great. I love it made into French toast. You can order one slice or one pancake. So any size appetite.

It's a Subway. Not-bad, filling food that can be good for you if you order smart. The ladies who work at the Swanton shop like how the boss treats them and it shows in the work. A long line doesn't faze 'em and multiple, complicated orders are filled quickly, accurately and cheerfully.
