Summerville is a very small town full of country folks and not many places to eat. This place is probably amongst the best. We all ordered a large pizza and baked spaghetti. The pizza was fantastic but, I had to give this place a good rating and not an excellent rating because the waitress kept ranting and raving about how incredible the bake spaghetti was. The baked spaghetti tasted kinda like plain old microwaved day old spaghetti from home. Not good, not bad.

arguably the very best chicken biscuit i have ever been served any where for any price. this was $3.00 and was a light flaky well put together no doubt martha white, full handful for biscuit surrounding a deliciously seasoned fresh out of the frier hot 3 inch thick slab of fried boneless chicken breast. we ate it on the tailgate of my truck and didn't miss a morsel. friendly folks, making wonderful fried chicken from a kiosk sized building with one drive through lane and one window. it was magical. it was so large, and so hot that it took a while to finish, but man oh man was it ever tasty. no way a normal person could two of these monsters. you could split one and not be hungry again until supper. its not much to look at from the street but they've got a world beater of a product and a large menu i wish i had taken more of a gander at so i could share it with you but soon as i saw chicken biscuit that was all she wrote. we had driven 90 miles fro this meal and they did not disappoint. NOT TO BE MISSED

We decided to try this business based on great reviews here on Trip advisor. The dinner rush had thinned out and only 4 or 5 tables remained. One party was at the cashier stand to pay. We stood there for nearly 10 minutes as the hostess/cashier carried on with the party paying, gossiping and chatting about everyone's mammernim. Servers and the buss boy walked past us several times. Not one single time did ANY employee even acknowledge us. We never got a "be right with you" or anything. Not very welcoming. Sorry, we weren't LOCALS or regulars, because the staff carried on very personalized conversations with everyone else there... since we weren't recognized and known we didn't feel as if we mattered to the staff at all. We left.
I grew up just a few miles down the road and was visiting friends while in town for a job offer/interview. But we won't be back to this establishment as visitors OR as locals.

We went to Jim's for breakfast this morning and had great service and a great breakfast. When we had finished eating our waitress came over and told us our meal had been taken care of, what a wonderful surprise! They wouldn't tell us who the person was but we are so thankful for the gesture.

I love small town cafes and stumbled upon this one on our way throughSummerville. Good find. This is a bar/lunch restuarant (the only one we saw) in the middle of a nice little town. The walls are covered with dollar bills, autographed or decorated with markers and left by customers.
They tout burgers and fried oysters, but we opted for the smoked, pulled pork. The serving size was generous, but not too huge. We split one, but ordered extra Texas toast and cole slaw. It comes with fries which my husabnd like. I enjoyed every bite.
Our server was a very friendly young woman who sat down to help us figure out the best route over the mountains.
Worth the stop on our search for Civil war museums and battlefields.

Generous portions of very good Mexican food served by friendly and attentive waiters. The seating area is quite large with a mixture of booths, tables, and a bar near the entrance. The restaurant has daily specials, and will fix items to order. We highly recommend the Texas fajitas, which include all the usual ingredient and shrimp. Ask for fresh jalapenos for some extra heat. This restaurant is located in downtown Summerville across from the Chattooga County Courthouse.

i drove 100 miles to eat one of jerry's chili dogs. it was a glorified snack worthy of another but i resisted the temptations as i had miles to go before i slept. it was early mooring and either we didn't read the instructions or are just plain stupid as we pulled in got out of the car and approached the building. you don't do that here. they have radio controlled ordering communications gear at each parking spot and your press a knob to communicate. jerry explained it to us without having to just lay it on the line and tell us we were stupid. he's nice guy. we enjoyed talking all things ga tech with him while we munched on chili dogs and milk shakes. jerry said he had a real good burger too. i bet he does. it is already onto list for the next pilgrimage. the joint is a little run down and is showing its age some on the outside, but good groceries and pleasant smiles abound in this laid back fell good fun drive in. there'd be more Mercuries parked out front if they hadn't a quit making them. now i wish i had a peanut butter shake instead of the chocolate. next visit will be soon. we had 3 other chili dogs today and this was by far the best of the bunch.

The best thing I had was the ice cold mexican beer on draft in the iced mug.
The regular burrito was totally average. Liked their fresh chips and salsa. The staff was very nice.
I just would not bother to go there again. It's a chain restaurant, multiple locations listed on the menu.

Henry's is a bbq joint that actually does more business at breakfast than at lunch. Their breakfast is great and the drive through is perfect when you just need to run through and grab a quick (and good) biscuit. Their bbq is just average to me (however I am kinda picky about bbq so take my opinion with a grain of salt) Not bad bbq, just average. I try to grab a biscuit from there about twice a week.

You can not get a better bacon, lettuce and tomato anywhere in Chattooga County. IT is awesome. Their prices are very reasonable and their staff are top notch. This is a drive thru but you get great food and great service. They also have really good burgers and fries.
