The first thing to say is that Shunsaiten Tsuchiya is a bit off the beaten track. Full of locals, it is about a 10 minute walk from the Esaka subway station. For c. 5,000 yen a head, you enjoy several cold traditional appetisers, followed by a delicious tempura course (scallop, asparagus, prawn, squid, crab, whole fish, leaf stuffed with fish, sesame dough, sweet potato etc.) followed by fish in miso with rice and miso soup and a green tea ice cream dessert. No menus in English, but hardly required. Tempura of the highest standard andnith some creativity, especially in presentation. Highly recommended.

Was expecting a real good Okonomiyaki but was disappointed. Yakisoba was still ok to get pass but definitely would be back there again. Owner was really friendly although he had a rude Taiwanese lady staff that was quite impatient with kids from other table and to some customers.

I love this place. Always excellent service, clean and plenty to choose from on the menu. It is on of the best kaiten sushi chains in Osaka for the money. They have typical standard sushi and a fews rolls as well as soup and other side dishes. It can get quite crowded sometimes in the evening and on weekends so be prepared to wait for a seat.

I am certainly a fan of Japanese food but on long visits to Japan its great to get a flavour of more familiar food with quality. Ricco is a rare find in that their pizzas and pastas are designed and cooked in traditional ways free from local customization to cater for the Japanese diet. prepared in traditional Italian ways with high quality ingredients this restaurant in an Oasis free from commercialization. its traditional pizza oven delivers excellent pizzas at good prices. The eclectic diners are a testament to its appeal with a wide range of excellent dishes. thoroughly recommended. The personal favourite of mine the Diavolo Pizza was a pleasure to be experienced!

We had dinner there last night and ordered the set course.
The place is beautiful, with a nice garden.
We really had a great time, food was excellent, every dish we had was just perfect. I recommend ordering the New York strip steak, the spicy tuna and avocado salad and the baked cheesecake for dessert.
Our waitress Ryushiro Hisaro and the rest of the staff were very attentive. The service there is of the highest standards.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant, i can still taste that cheesecake in my mouth:)
