Steve from Point Reyes Vineyards recommended the Parkside for us and it did not disappoint. The service was prompt, the food options were terrific and the quality and speed of service was great. We had lunch, but menu is the same for lunch and dinner. When in Stinson Beach area, I recommend giving them a try.

I have eaten here before as I have relatives in town. every time I go, I hope they will move the needle to great and five stars, but didn't quite get there this time. Several of our group ordered the fresh Ahi tuna, while I had chicken. They raved about their tuna, while my chicken was dry. Desserts were great. When every order is great, then they move to 5 stars. As to service, don't be in a hurry and you will do fine.

This is a super cute little grocery store with a lot of small town flavor and small-town charm make me smile every time I go in there and go shopping because there’s a lot of cool things they have in things he would not expect in such a small store and they are really friendly there and I like it

I think this tiny ice cream shop is the #1 rated eatery in Fairfax. Mind you, they have some delish ice cream, but nothing you've never had at several dozen other places, quality-wise. Sure,if you're in the mood for some ice cream, go for it. But I don't see a particular wow factor here, at least relative to other ice cream shops.

Visiting friends nearby and taken to the Pelican. Very interest and authentic English pub in California. Fish and chips was very good and certainly up to UK pub standards.
But be a bit pricey but f&c was well worth the price.
Would certainly recommend as the beer was up to standard if not served a little too warm for us Brits.

Spectacular food, casual atmosphere, good staff. The toasted gnocchi and french fries are world class (although eliminating the romesco FF sauce is a bummer). Truly. Avocado bruschetta and tuna tartar are long term winners. Run, don't walk, to Larkspur. Ask for the soft serve ice cream from the (excellent) sister pizzeria next door; not on the menu, yet delicious. Only complaint is the sticky toffee cake, otherwise known as the best dessert in NorCal has goon missing. :(

A beach-side venue with great views and fresh fare. Beer and Wine too!
We decided to come here for an brunch/early lunch on a relatively brisk but clear and sunny day. The setting was wonderful, a converted snack bar under an unused life guard station, rustic benches surround the snack bar windows and kitchen with an open picnic...MoreWow. I am very sorry you had such a poor experience. We try our best to please our customers. We will try harder! MM

Local oysters and kale, farm-fresh produce and pizza. Went for my daughter's 16th Birthday and the staff was so delightful and played a series of birthday tunes for her at the end of the evening. The veggies, which are local, are to die for.

This restaurant is a pleasant change from the minimalistic restaurants that have seriously crept into the dining scene. The hunting lodge décor, wood paneling, fireplace and rug made this charming restaurant cozy and easy for conversation and conviviality. The food was brought as ordered: the marinated skirt steaks, a generous rib-eye a smoked chicken salad--all received high marks, only the duck could have used improvement. The hot, thin French fries which filled the plate didn’t hurt The Napa red was a good companion to our entrees. Even the rolls were good. Share the oyster medley for the appetizer. Order the key lime pie for dessert. Good service was maintained even though the restaurant was full. Bon appetit.

Left Bank is an authentic Parisian-style brasserie located in the historic Blue Rock Inn in charming downtown Larkspur. Built in 1895 during the railroad era, The Blue Rock Inn was a popular weekend destination for San Franciscans to come dance and picnic under the stars. Open since 1994, Left Bank continues to be a destination for folks from all over the Bay Area to enjoy a casual snack on the sunny terrace, a glass of wine or hand crafted cocktail at the lively bar, or an elegant dining experience near the fireplace. At Left Bank, you are sure to capture the true feeling of the Rive Gauche in Paris. Nineteen years of working with local organic farms allows us to bring you the best seasonal ingredients available. Chef de Cuisine Fabrice Marcon offers an often changing, French brasserie menu of hearty, rustic, and authentic dishes featuring a diverse selection of natural meats, sustainable seafood, fresh local vegetables, salads and sumptuous desserts.
My wife and I had a late lunch, which worked well as it appeared to have been packed earlier. Service was good. The appearance was very nice. Food was dominantly French, as is expected at a Brasserie. Good draft beer and an excellent wine list were both present. I had Fondue Aux Fromages and Croque Monsieur while my wife had Tarte Lyonnaise and Onion Soup. All were tasty and good quantity. It was easy to see why it was locally popular. Prices were lower than we had expected. We look forward to another visit there soon.
