About the best food on the Washington side of the Columbia River. Outstanding quality American favorites. Warm and cozy venue. Very nice selection of micro-brews on tap. Excellent service. Good option for those staying at Skamania Lodge other than the food on site there and just over one mile away.

This must be the hottest place in town as every time we went by there were lines. So we just had to stop and see what all the fuss was about. Line was long but it moved right along. Just ordered a couple of twist cones but, boy! were they something for size. We ordered the smalls and they were more than adequate. Other people seemed pleased with their orders, judging from the comments we overheard. Definitely "the" place to grab a treat!

After a stroll through Stevenson to walk off some of our dinner, we stopped at this cute little ice cream shop on the main drag (2nd). Limited flavors, but good variety...each of us found something we liked. I recommend the Maple Nut:)

We ordered a large catered meal from Antoinette, the Deli Manager. She and her assistant, Leslie, went out of their way and worked long hours, to make sure that our order was on time. We cannot say enough positive things about the service and quality of the deli items at A&J's in Stephenson. *Be sure to try their smoke meats!

We are a locally ran, Family owned and operated brewery. We have had the pleasure of serving local residents and visitors from abroad. We would love to serve you and to stop by the pub and have a pint and beer!
You are not going to want to pass by this place if you like good microbrews. Food is very respectable. Very nice pizza. The place is a remodeled industrial building that has a very pizza parlor feel. A cute little place. A favorite of locals from miles around. Excellent service. A couple of miles off Highway 14 in Carson.

Thunder Island Brewing Company is an adventure-based small batch brewery that is handcrafting creative and innovative beers in the Pacific Northwest. Based out of Cascades Locks, Oregon, forty-three miles east of Portland, Thunder Island Brewing makes original beers inspired by a love for outdoor adventures, with a nod to local history and with a respect for all that the scenic Columbia River Gorge has to offer.

For buses and groups sized 16+, a two hour advance notice is appreciated. Recently remodeled and under new ownership since 2014. We hope you will stop in and see us!
I was not blown away by the food here but I will say it's not a bad place to eat... The menu choices are huge so you can choose just about anything you want including soups, salad & deserts... You choose the items you want then slide down to the register to pay for your meal then slide a smidgen further down to grab your drink... Once all that is done start looking for a seat with the best view while they cook your food to order... They bring your food to the table so you have time to chat, get free drink refills & enjoy the view before stuffing your face...

We stopped in Stevenson and took a side street. We saw Robbie's coffee house and it looked inviting. We ordered the wonderful salad and delicious soup and both were great, tasted the cookies and they were so good that we bought some extra for the road. Robbie was cooking some more pastries and the smell was delicious.
Her place is warm, welcoming and homey. Robbie is a very cheerful, friendly and humorous person. We had thought we'd stop for a quick bite and ended up staying close on two hours. Robbie employs less-abled people in her café and is lovely and patient with them. A good person that makes you glad you stopped over.
