The atmosphere is light-hearted with large blackboards sporting colorfully lettered menu items, a nod to the past of this town with easy to see historical pictures and a whimsical painting of some curious cows. The dining area is spacious and easy to navigate for patrons and staff. Our waitress Michala was personable, informative and warm without being pushy. She graciously resolved a small problem and took a concern regarding our food directly to the chef and returned with a response that included a solution for future visits. All of our visits have included truly exceptional meals that are elevated above usual restaurant fare by deft use of spice and professional cooking techniques. The bar is well stocked and the coffee is full flavored and piping hot. Should you need to wait for a table, there are multiple seating areas that are super comfy including squashy chairs and a couch near a large fireplace. Thanks for a pleasant time away from the hubbub.

Loved the atmosphere - brick walls, wood floors, tables and chairs. Easygoing waitstaff.
Food was plentiful, especially the pancakes. Tasted good. "Large" orange juice was small, but on par with other establishments*. That said, $45 after tip for a couple and a toddler is higher than normal for a breakfast. Solid 3.5 stars... its Christmas, guess we'll round up.. *As an aside - In a world where all kinds of crap is available supersized, I'd love to see the same for a healthy glass of juice just once.

Hilltop Pub & Grill is a unique restaurant in Stevens Point, WI. We have a wide variety of food choices from burgers and fish frys to salads, steaks & wraps. A great atmosphere, with 6 HDTV's and 20 tap beers in our front "keg room" and a nice casual dining room in back. We can accommodate the business lunch meeting as well as a family or team in town for a sporting event. You can also enjoy our outdoor decks when the weather is nice.

Affordable dining with selections for everyone.Great burgers and enough fries for the entire table. My favorite stand-by is the grilled chicken salad if I'm feeling healthy and the taco salad if I'm indulging. The service and food is consistently above-average and it is a great gathering spot for friends to catch up. Tasty frozen margaritas, excellent Bloody Marys.

Business trip, stayed at hotel nearby. Intrigued by their tag line “fresh from scratch.” Not very crowded on a Wed night. Attentive friendly service from Chase, had the spicy garlic flatbread at $11.99. Very tasty with great flavors though a bit greasy, which I suspect is from the hot chili oil that makes it spicy. Perfectly paired with New Glarus Spotted Cow lager, very enjoyable evening.

Went for a business meeting. Tables were put together fast. We were all served drinks timely and our food came out all at the same time. The restaurant was busy so that was positive. I had a TNT and a Monster Roll. Both were great! This was my first time having raw ingredients and it was fantastic. I will enjoy both again in the near future.

We stopped here for lunch today while visiting our son and his girl friend. Our 4 meals cane from the lunch menu or appetizers, and were delightful, chicken fajitas, beef fajitas, taco salad, and chicken nachos. Chips with salsa and cheese queso sauce were excellent as well. The meals were very hot and flavorful in their own ways making this an enjoyable meal. The waiter took care of all our needs and was good at anticipating what we needed. Highly recommend.

We absolutely love the Bill's Special pizza! Some may find issue with the canned mushrooms, but we thoroughly enjoy them. The roast beef sandwiches are spicy and delicious. Adding cheese to them is perfection.

I've been to 4 of the Politos locations and if NY style pies are your thing this is your place. They have good variety and sell by the slice. Sausage or Pepperoni are my favorite, but I really like the Macaroni too.

We are connected to the Stevens Point Holiday Inn and Convention Center. Amber Grill is an upscale casual restaurant with dark wood interior, leather seating, and unique lighting. We have four distinct areas. The dining room, with high backed booths, curtained corner seating for private dining, and a fireplace at the far end. The bar area, with high top seating and a full length wrap around bar. Our patio, complete with umbrellas, a fire pit, and an above heated bar. And finally our Point Brewery Room, a private dining room with available seating for up to 25. Call ahead for reservations.

Took the family in for a late lunch. It was better than the last visit. Kids were happy with their food. My wife and I were happy with our choices. Always love the fries.
