We did it. We redefined classic pub fare with an ambitious menu of our own, served it up with a side of lake views from our sun-drenched deck and topped it off with the lake's most iconic mojito. Brooks' Bar & Deck has taken its place as the premier post-play watering hole in the State of Nevada. Offering great food and an amazing atmosphere to enjoy with friends, Brooks' has become one of South Lake Tahoe's best restaurants that everyone can enjoy. Brooks' was recently selected by the editors of Golf Digest as one of the "Best Golf Pubs," joining an additional 10 other pubs worldwide in famous golfing locations including Pebble Beach, California; Pinehurst, North Carolina; St. Andrews, Scotland; and Doonberg, Ireland. With the majestic snow-capped Sierras in the distance, guests can relax on Brooks' expansive deck and take in the heavenly postcard-like views of the golf course and Lake Tahoe. Located right off Edgewood Tahoe's picturesque 18th hole, this is home to one of the greatest sunsets of the world, and it happens daily! Within, Brooks' feels very much like a sports bar designed by Frank Gehry: sweeping vaulted ceilings, walls of glass windows, a handsome wooden build. Yet the beautiful architecture belies the comfortable feel and attitude. With multiple flatscreen TVs tuned to the biggest games of the day, the bar features a number of quality local brews and a variety of signature cocktails. Casual dining fare, deluxe appetizers and entrees, and sophisticated comfort food all put Brooks' at the top of its class.
Visited on a Sunday morning. Great drinks, dessert, service, and price for the beautiful atmosphere. Ordered spiked coffees and sat outside since no seating indoors. I think they were having a few weddings that morning so possibly why so crowded. We were able to move indoors shortly after ordering our drinks. Their Irish coffee is very good. Bartender was kind of enough to make a drink for boyfriend never heard of before on request. The waitress was very kind, patient, and attentive. We shared the banana chocolate chip bread pudding which was warm and sweet topped with ice cream. Family came by towards the end of our service but treated equally with great service. Very clean indoors and amazing views of the lake. Although we were not staying at the hotel we felt very welcomed. There are TVs to watch sports, caught part of a football game even though not a big sports fan. Afterwards walked along the beach next to the lake. Valet parking so we could be dropped off and picked up right in front of the building. Will definitely consider staying there next time I'm in Tahoe.

Just opened July 4th. 775-580-7770 Full bar. Serves burgers and hot dogs with an extensive bar. Have both bar seating and individual table seating. Web site not fully operational. Looks like a great place for getting away from all the casino noise and smoke
The Lucky Beaver Bar and Burger in South Lake Tahoe does it right. Even before you enter the restaurant you are mesmerized as you look through a large picture window where broiling succulent prime beef patties ringed by flames atop a rotating grill surface are being well-tended by the chef. Pans of bacon, onions, mushrooms bubble atop the grill beckoning you inside the buzzing crowded Lucky Beaver Bar and Burger. The menu is expansive and the drink choices are plentiful. But you know what you want - the signature hamburger with aged cheddar and grilled onions with a side of Parmesan garlic hand cut fries. The service is attentive and the the atmosphere is inviting. If you wish to sample the other offerings on the menu you and your party will be treated to choices ranging from Cobb salads to bone in Tomahawk ribeyes with plenty of fare for all tastes in between. Don’t miss a visit to the Lucky Beaver Bar and Burger when in South Lake Tahoe.

Long line, but that's to be expected...I would have been concerned if there wasn't one!! Counter help was really nice & delightful...only misfortune was that my/our cups were so messy, the bottom & sides were literally dripping and the young lady didn't even wipe them off??
Ice cream was phenomenal as always'm

Went here based on Trip Advisor Reviews with family of 4 (2 adults, two teenagers).
First of all, the view is spectacular. Also, the service was excellent. Very attentive, knowledgeable and really top notch. We were a little surprised at the quality of the meat however, just not quite up to par with other high end steak houses that we have been to. My wife had the Filet Mignon cooked Medium, and I had the Porterhouse cooked Medium Rare. The meat was cooked perfectly, it's just that the steaks themselves were not of the quality that we are used to. It was a little surprising because all of other food was perfect and everything else was also great. It was still a good meal, and maybe we just had bad cuts, but for what we paid we expected a little better.

Really good breakfast venue with great staff. The food is very tasty, reasonably priced and good portion sizes. We will definitely be back before we leave...

Wow so disappointed the last couple of years at the chart house in Southlake.
To start with the food has become very mediocre and lower quality. Steaks that are grilled taste like they have lighter fluid poured all over them (what is that?!)and the baked potatoes are at least 2 to 3 hours old.
Mealy and sad, not fluffy and hot like a baked potato should be.
If you’re not getting the simple things right that a chart house offers then maybe that’s why the one in Fort Lauderdale closed down on The intracoastal waterway
The view is beautiful the servers are awesome
especially Rob, but the food & quality has suffered terribly. No more first stop of the ski trip for us at the chart house unless it’s just for the salad bar which is still quite decent.

Fast, friendly and good! Hot wings are great! Not soggy...soggy wings are just gross! Pizza is great and I love the different kinds to pick from. Bloody Mary's ... a must

Latin Soul is authentic, contemporary, distinctive and tasteful. We comfortably prepare a table for your gathering of friends or make your intimate dinner for two a special occasion. Chef Alvaro Ochoa artistically combines fresh ingredients from Mexico, Central and South America and The Caribbean into a fusion of rare flavors.

We had another fabulous meal at Cafe Fiore. This was the first time ever that we had to sit outside on their deck. I was a bit nervous about that as the weather was changing, but it was lovely. The deck is fully covered and there are heaters if necessary, but they were not needed.
This visit the four of us split first and main courses. We each picked a pasta and split it, and then we all split the fish. One couple had their (justifiably praised) swordfish, and one couple had the halibut special. The waiter suggested we have them prepare the halibut in the same manner and sauce as they do their swordfish, and both entrees were delicious! Most importantly we did not leave half of our fish on the plate because of all of the food.
Cafe Fiore is very flexible. If you want half portions, or if you want half a portion of fish, and let's say, half a portion of meat or chicken, they will happily do their very best to accommodate, and they actually seem to encourage you to order exactly what you would like.
Their garlic bread and the vegetable sides that come with the entrees are wonderful! I especially love their carrot puree - out of this world!
We are not big dessert eaters but we can not leave this restaurant without having their white chocolate ice cream that is made in house. It bests many gelatos I have had around the world. One order with 4 spoons was plenty for us after that large meal. The ice cream comes with berries and the combo is perfect and the portion is large.
Service is always top notch here as well. We have been enjoying Cafe Fiore for decades now and the quality of food and service never changes ..consistently great!

Lots of people coming and going with tables always filling right up after a party leaves. Friendly hostesses and wait staff; bartender personally delivered the mixed drinks. Terrific burgers and side options ... Decent selection of beer. Would recommend and it is in an easy get to location.
