Very nice family owned restaurant with typical Styrian dishes. You get a lot for your money and high quality.

Was vielleicht fehlt? Spezialitäten aus der Umgebung.

At the moment we are on winter holidays - from March 3rd 2018 we are back and open again. We wish you a nice winter and looking forward to welcome you in our Buschenschank in March again.
First time at a Buschenschank and I was not disappointed. Great selection of local home-made produce, a great atmosphere and a great location. It is well worth the effort to go here if you are in the area but check first to see if they are open as their opening hours are seasonal.

The Jagawirt is perched way up in the wooded sectors and wine regions of west Styrian Reinischkogel. Unlikely as it may seem, this is an aged institution. Moreover, it fulfills every promise it makes.
Incredibly friendly hosts, were blown away that I would pop in for dinner from Graz. Food was great. I took whatever they had cooked that night which was soup and then for main meal a selection of cuts, like wild boar, a small piece of schnitzel and some knödel. Nice drive up, just regretted that I didn't go there earlier when there was still some sunlight.

Whether you are touring the wine routes or going shopping in Stainz or Deutschlandsberg, Cafe Ebner is on your way and is the perfect stop for a relaxing cup of tea, coffee, cakes,or even aperitif.Though it is close to a busy street, the sitting on the veranda is very pleasant and greenery and flower arrangements contribute to the nice Atmosphere of the place. Should it rain, the inside of the coffee shop is also very inviting with a readers nook and pastel colors on the walls. You 'd expect this kind of boutique cafe in the US more than in the Austrian countryside.

I visited this restaurant because the restaurant in Stainzerhof was closed.
It is really great - very local food, perfectly prepared. We had deer and locally produced fish. Very good service
Be sure to reserve in advance, when we were there you only got a seat with reservation.

When visiting Stainz we also go to this cafe. The atmosphere is really good, as is the cake and coffee and the good thing is, you can also have a small beer in a really cute long slim glass - which makes it taste even better!

This is an old style Buschenschank. The food is excellent, the Schilcher wine of Toni Peter a good and reliable companion to any food offered. Try the Brettljause with a wide selection of traditional meat.
