I have been here for lunch twice in the last few months, the second time being a Christmas meal.
Both times I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The food is really good, and there is plenty of it. Lots of choice on the 3 course menu, and very good prices. The students are great. Very enthusiastic and very hardworking. I will definitely be going a few more times next year.

Came here to eat prior to a concert. What a fabulous place. The service was second to none. Really friendly staff.
The food is so fresh.
I had the stuffed vine leaves for starters, gorgeous and very tasty. My wife had the grilled king prawns, which were presented beautifully.
I had the chefs special kebabs and my wife had the stifado for our main course. Both were gorgeous. The beef in the stifado was so tender and the meat in my kebab was perfect.
I would really recommend the Limassol, great food, great service and reasonabley priced.

Wow what a great find this place is. Id heared from many frends about the lovely food and hospitality here so decided to give it a try. From entering these premises to leaving we were made to feel extremely welcome. The lady in charge recommended we try the home made chips which i did along with a rib eye steak with diane sauce. It was gorgeous. My partner had a dish called "Cock n Bull" which were strips of steak and chicken in a pepper sauce with half rice and chips, he cleaned the dish, and the portions are really big. I was looking forward to dessert but i was completely stuffed. We will certainly be returning and definately recommending them to all our friends. Absolutely wonderful.

Went for lunch with the wife.
Ordered drinks and were given menus to peruse. Ordered our food and once it was ready we were taken through to the restaurant area at the rear of the pub.
I had the black pudding and potato cake stack for a starter and the wife had the ham hock terrine. The food and presentation were A1, and the portion sizes very generous.
I then had the steak and ale pie, which was just perfect. The puff pastry was the best I've ever had, with every layer crisp and no soggy bits. The steak and ale filling was cooked to perfection with not the slightest bit of fat or gristle. The wife had the lamb Henry and it was massive! It would easily have served two. That was also delicious.
Prices are very reasonable for the quality of food, and the staff were attentive without being overbearing.
We WILL be back, if not just to sample the desserts, as we were both so stuffed, we couldn't manage one.

This family run pub/restaurant prides itself on the high quality, homecooked food that is served 7 days a week. Not only do we provide traditional English dishes, our extensive menu contains a number of different cuisines, to make sure there is something for everyone's taste buds! We offer a variety of dishes ranging from baguettes with tempting fillings for a light snack, to our signature Mixed Grill which is not for the faint hearted! We pride ourselves on using the best british produce, cooked by highly trained chefs. The unique building attracts customers from all over the country and even international visitors. The slanted' floors alone, are worth visiting the business for! The traditional and homely decor provides the perfect surrounding for a family occasion. The building boasts a fantastic beer garden and bowling green, which is an ideal place to spend a hot summer's day, and if that wasn't enough the sports bar exhibits a vast range of memorabilia for those sports enthusiasts!
Had a couple of evening meals here and would go back to sample the menu more. Nice to find a genuine, well established pub that’s obviously evolved rather than having an instant character “makeover”. The staff are friendly and helpful, service prompt, and the food tasty and in generous portions. I did have a few beers here but it was before the drinks that I noticed the floor slopes towards the bar (honest) ... all part of the character! I actively avoid mega chain establishments and was pleased to find the Wheatsheaf pleasingly unique.

Here at Mr.Chans, we bring to you a taste of Chinese cuisine from the main culinary areas of China. We offer a full A la Carte Menu with a variety of popular authentic dishes together with a selection of traditional meals. You can just indulge from our large selection of dim sum starters or spoil yourself with an elaborate banquet for that special occasion.
Came here last night (Wednesday) for our sons birthday celebration. Wonderful food, excellent service, there is no portion control here so you wont leave hungry. The restaurant and facilities are very clean and of a high standard. Charlie the host is very welcoming.
A well stocked bar was the icing on the cake. I had a pale ale from a small Manchester brewery which was very nice. He has some nice bottles also.
Of particular mention was the combo starter...Very nice.
