The barbecue meats were exceptionally good. The pulled pork, brisket and chicken breast were awesome, the barbecue ribs were quite good as well. Sweet tea was also really good. Just a nice quaint local place to sit down and relax and enjoy some good Texas food.

When you are in a small town, I would prefer to ask the locals instead of trip advisor. Not enough people rating restaurants, I guess. Everyone at my table loved everything. I had the singing cowboy and I would recommend this so hard. The chili is perfect and I was stuffed. Every local I asked said it was the best around.

We take pride in making every burger that we serve the very best we can, from our homemade specialty dressings to our buttered and toasted bakery buns to the crisp fresh vegetables we use, to the star of our burger, the grilled to perfection beef patty. We have an undying love for a good "old fashioned burger" and as it turns out an even greater love for seeing the enjoyment and hearing the approval from our customers who feel the same.
Loved this place. Right on the square. I had a B & B burger (cheeseburger) with fries for $7.00. They have many burgers to choose from. Sliders looked great. I am not a "French fry" person, but I ate most of mine....they are definitely cut and fried up right there. No frozen stuff.

I have visited here with my family and with small groups of friends (8-10). The place is impeccably clean and the food is always delicious. It is a basic, simply decorated cafe. I enjoy the lack of background music and televisions on the wall. When I go out with friends for a meal, I dislike having to shout over unnecessarily loud music or to compete for their attention with a TV. I want to savor both my food and the conversation with my companions. The pleasant atmosphere at Annie's makes that easy to do. The two ladies who wait on the tables are always friendly and efficient. Drinks are always full and the food is served hot. The food is consistently good. Not fancy, but always good. When I mention to my kids that I'm thinking about going there for breakfast or lunch, they're always ready to go. If you want to visit, you need to know that they only serve breakfast and lunch and they are closed on Sunday. I have see a lot of businesses come and go on this spot, but they're thriving, so they're clearly doing it right.

Go here often when family comes in, or "just because". I don't know why the one bad review, must be someone not familier with TEx/Mex? Food for the price is pretty good, large portians as well. I have had the Chili Releno several times and it is great.
Place is located in a weird place and can be hard to find the 1st time,, but worth the effort vs running to Ft Worth.
We have always had great, courteous service.

This Cafe is located way out on the west end of DFW in Springtown TX nearly 30 miles west of downtown Fort Worth. The food is basic diner fare in northern Texas, consisting of burgers, diner plates, and breakfast anytime. The breakfast items are great and takes one back to the experience of home cooked meals. The locals fill the dining room during meal times so don't be surprised that you have to look for a parking place. So if you are out west or on your way to Jackboro or beyond stop here you won't be disappointed....

The food was spectacular. We had a breakfast burrito and machacado plate, everything looked home made, and was served piping hot. The tomatillo pepper sauca and what I believe was a dried Chile sauce, both were great. The price was very reasonable. Don't miss this place!

My wife and I accidently found this place in Springtown (Tx); it's a good place, although a bit pricey, for a hamburger and fries. It is located just a bit west of the town square in an old brick building, and parking isn't too bad across the street. For the two of us, two 1/4 burgers, an order of onion rings, and one soda ran us about $18.00. Next time we are heading north on Hwy 51 thru Springtown and it is lunch time and we are hungry, we'll stop again! Saturdays included!

Chicken Express in Springtown is one of the better eating places we have. Their chicken is consistently good as are their side dishes and rolls. Sweet tea is a specialty and it IS sweet!!. I prefer half and half or unsweetened, but if you like sweet tea, "Chicken E 's" is as good as anybody's. Their rolls are yeasty and hot AND they also serve fabulous chicken livers and gizzards which has become an increasingly rare phenomenon in fast food chicken places. Great gravy, fried okra, corn fritters, good fries. What's not to like?! Prices are reasonable too. This place easily puts Kentucky Fried Chicken to shame.

We are an Ice Cream and Panini Sandwich shop located only in Springtown, TX. We offer a variety of sandwiches and wraps that you can have served hot or cold its your choice. Our sandwiches are served on chiabatta rolls in wheat or white. Our wraps are spinach or honey wheat tortillas. Our ice cream is hard scooped and we have sugar cones, waffle cones, cups of ice cream and you can pick your own toppings, a brownie sundae that is awesome, and a lot more variations on the ice cream choices.
They started out Blue Bell ice cream with all the trimmings, as well as things like floats. It was good and there was nothing else like it in town. Then they expanded to include a sandwich and soup menu. Last night, we had a couple of sandwiches and tomato basil soup- yummy!! The owner and staff are always friendly and helpful. The restaurant in immaculately clean. If you want to stay a while, they have a table with an assortment of board games you can play. Not only are the food and atmosphere good, they are also very community-minded. Tiffany, the owner, recently did a fundraiser night for the school where I work and the parents of my students all said they enjoyed it tremendously.
