Visited here as result of hotel winning hotel wine list of year and we were really delighted with the experience we had here. Staff were super friendly especially Fergal and there was great atmosphere in restaurant. Starters of cured trout brilliant and so light while mains of lamb three ways outstanding. Dessert of pear so good. Wine list is very extensive with wines from all over the world and gives excellent value. One small crib on wine list while it has some organic wines it is a bit light on biodynamic ,organic and natural wines. We will certainly return to sample chefs tasting dinner in the future.

My mum and i had lunch recently at the forge while passing through Moycullen..Food was excellent, nicely presented, fresh, good portion size, reasonably priced. Service was good, staff was very friendly and very attentive...The premises itself is bright, cheerful, very clean, and inviting. There was a good selection on the menu to suite all tastes. Will def be back again.

We visited here twice on a recent stay in Barna. We were looked after by the wonderful George and some of the ladies on the floor. George was particularly charming, chatty and just great at his job. The girls are friendly, efficient and lovely to deal with.
The only down side was the chap behind the bar with the glasses. His attitude seems to be very different to that of the rest of the Team. He was sharp with us and just didn’t seem friendly or interested.
Again, the girls are great and George is an absolute gem. He makes such a difference to the vibe in the place. I hadn’t been here in a long time and this was my first visit since George started and I can tell you...this was a smart hiring decision! He is a real find.
This is a great bar, the food is superb and it’s really comfortable. I’d love to have a Donnellys on my doorstep...I’d be your best Customer!!

Was here for a bite to eat on the weekend with family, another family member and myself thought it'd be nice to have a warm bowl of soup, the soup of the day was carrot and lentil, so it sounded good.
Well the soup was more than disappointing... it tasted like the 'chef' had dumped way too much turmeric, & coriander, even curry powder into the soup... it had a curry like texture and was unfortunately absolutely disgusting! Please never sell this soup again!
On the bright side I had a gorgeous latte to look forward to, and the staff were nice.
I would hate to try the cakes if this is what the soup is like.

We were in Galway on a bussiness trip and this restaurant was recommended to us. Chowder and fish was really excellent. Service and sea-view on was nice too. Don't hesitate to go and have a meal here!

We were a group of nine, two families catching up for brunch at the delightful restaurant. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The staff are very accommodating and patient and great with catering for kids. All dishes are superb and reasonable priced. Will definitely be back.
Can highly recommend the black pudding.

A destination in its own right, The Pins is loved by locals and overnight guests alike. In addition to an incredible food menu there is an equally incredible selection of cocktails, beers and wines. The Pins is a great place to enjoy good coffees, breads 'just out of the oven' from the on-site bakery and tantalising local produce infused with flavours from around the world. Catch a Traditional Irish Music session and see Galway's finest Jazz acts. Open from 8am for breakfast, serving great local food all day, everyday and Night. Acclaimed for its use of local ingredients and noted as making the 'Best Pizza outside of Napoli', The Pins has one gourmet rosette for culinary excellence. Winner of 'the Best Gastro Pub in Ireland' and 'The Best Casual Dining in Ireland'.
My family and I have been to the Twelve many times when visiting family in Ireland. In fact my daughter had her baptism dinner there before it was transformed from the Twelve Pins pub to the The Twelve boutique hotel. But sadly whilst the decor has improved the food hasn’t, at least not in the pub. The pizza is great but they are taking style over substance to new limits. If you want your fish served in bite sized pieces and ~9 chips in a useless aluminium flower pot then this is the place. If you want proper fish and chips then go elsewhere.

Visited here with my husband for our anniversary dinner and had some genuinely sublime seafood. Prawns and ceviche to start, prawns were delicious and ceviche had quite an unusual twist, very tasty though. Monkfish with mussels and Gurnard for mains, both excellent and extremely fresh. Portion sizes were good, couldn't quite finish my main. What really adds to the whole experience here is the staff - so super friendly and really warm and welcoming. Will certainly be back.

I stopped here recently to pick up a take away. To say I was surprised with the quality would be an understatement. From the base on all three pizzas to the toppings to the " exquisite merging of taste ".. this was a pizza like no other. It was the work of an artisan chef.. " wonderful ".

Myself and my mother visit this coffee shop every Monday and we are made so welcome with our two dogs. We try different pastries each week and never disappointed . When the sun shines the garden is most beautiful place to sit and soak up the rays with a delicious coffee. Keep up the great work guys
