Sperlonga is a coastal town in the province of Latina, Italy, about halfway between Rome and Naples. It is best known for the ancient Roman sea grotto discovered in the grounds of the Villa of Tiberius containing the important and spectacular Sperlonga sculptures, which are displayed in a museum on the site.

We recently had lunch at Gli Archi during a visit to Sperlonga in August. It was an incredibly hot day. Luckily the restaurant was climatized, so very comfortable. The old stone structure is very quaint and picturesque. The restaurant was pristine, with a friendly and helpful staff. The food was simply amazing, all local and fresh. I would highly recommend this restauranto to anyone looking for an amazing meal.

The "pizzeria" is really hidden between the buildings but it's easily reachable. The personnel is very kind and the location is charming, right on the lake. The pizza is really good and the price is fair.

We dined at this charming restaurant three times and we have always been blown away by the quality of the food, their specialities and taste of their dishes.
They know everything fish (spoke with the manager who demonstrated it and honestly stated where all of their fish was coming from) and they serve it fresh. Their fried calamari or fritto di paranza is deliciously made and not oily at all.
Recommend is the "aperitivo di pesce per due" which comes as a big plate of shells full of different delicacies. Good selection of wine and wonderful waiter service which makes you feel a king. Highly recommended.

We cannot return to Sperlonga without a visit to this lovely little bar/restaraunt. The food never disappoints, the service is fast, polite and eficient, if you"re not sure what to order the friendly staff speak english and will explain to you. We highly recommend this place and especially the ultra fresh seafood, we have seen couples, singles and families enjoying this wonderful place and whats even better is its not overpriced

After travelling through Italy for 2 weeks, we were a bit over pizzas and pastas, so we tried this restaurant last night and were so happy. We had local fish, calamari, and king prawns. Beautiful fresh seafood, washed down with local wine. Reasonably priced and highly recommended :D

Wonderful Terrace overlooking the sea.Beautiful landscape surrounded by nature. Excellent food, open for lunch and dinner.Of coures, seafood.
Bazzano beach restaurant is a lovely place directly to the beach.
Good food, make delicious dishes based on fish with fair prices.
The atmosphere is casual and nice, you can also book a table for
lunch and continue to sunbathe on the beach, they will call you with
megaphone when your table it's ready.
It's not easy to reach , because you must park on the
street above walk down the path and than walk on the beach to go
to the restaurant

While spending a night in Sperlonga, my wife and I happened upon the Pasticceria Fiorelli while taking a walk after dinner. We decided to have some gelato and sampled the coconut first. After tasting that sample which had real coconut in it, I had to have it (which I did). Then he gave us another sample of melon. And it was the best melon flavor I'd ever tasted. I wish I could have tried every flavor. If you are in Sperlonga, you must stop and have some of this.

A MAGIC WEAVE OF NATURE AND TASTESThe genuine tastes of the Mediterranean Sea,a perfectmeet of sea and land that are valorizedand reinterpreted in a innovative and refined way at the " Restaurant Wine Bar Ganimede",to relish the last daylight,to be inebriated by the typical products taste of the Pontina land and by the wrapping coloures of the sunset.
Set meal, antipasta, pasta, meat course, dessert, really beautiful local ingredients and lovely presentaion. Young chef with inventive menu. Don't rush for 7pm, take your time so you won't be dissapointed. Hopefully the wine list will include presecco, white medium and rose by the time we visit again.

I had lotsss of gelato on my Europe trip around Italy and this one was my favourite. Beautiful presentation of the flavours and so cute you get a mini cone added to your ice cream! Very reasonably priced too, we came back for seconds on our four day Sperlonga trip.
