We visited with a family group of 7 on a weekend evening. We did have reservations and were seated and served promptly. Our party (including someone with some dietary needs) ordered a variety of items from the lengthy menu. Everyone seemed to like their choices. Of particular note were the caprese salad (appetizer), clam & linguine entree, meat filled ravioli with marinara, veal parmesan and eggplant casserole. Our table also enjoyed several desserts: a beautiful berry tart with a Chantilly cream layer and an abragato (yummy vanilla bean ice cream served in a medium sized glass tumbler with espresso and whipped cream on top) were two of them. A very minor nitpick - their parmesan cheese was the pre-grated type just put out in a small bowl for the table; we would have appreciated the freshness of on-the-spot shaving. Overall we really liked this traditional establishment.

Well... a genuinely warm welcome, a happy waiter who smiled as he worked, made suggestions on menu items but not in a robotic fashion often experienced.
Delicious wine. Fantastic soup to start (tomato/chicken, with small pearls of pasta) and a main entree of sausage and fettuccini. Great bread to wipe up the pasta sauce flavors afterwards.
Good brief conversation with other diners and also the chef too.
There is a reason this place is so highly regarded in this area. The reason is the people, because they make this a number 1 in my mind.
Such good quality food and service!!

We visited for dinner on a Friday evening with the kids. We were greeted by the owner, who also entertained us at our table with some magic for the kids. Really lovely. Servers were very pleasant, the food was very good. We will be back!

We’re here seven days a week. We want you to feel comfortable coming in any time. All of those days. For breakfast, lunch or dinner. We want to be the place you come to for an omelet and coffee before work, a cocktail and appetizers after, a quick bite for lunch or dinner, or a burger and a beer before or after the movie. We want to be the place for a dressed-up meal when you’re trying to impress that special someone. And we want to be the place where you hold your business meetings or celebrate life’s milestones — birthdays, graduations, engagements, weddings and more.
I had just arrived in SF after a cross-country flight and was starved. I was looking for some traditional ‘American’ cuisine. I saw the online menu at Jack’s and walked over from my nearby motel. I’m glad I did. I thoroughly enjoyed the meatloaf which was served atop mashed potatoes, topped with crispy onion rings. I ordered a side salad which was very good. My server, Jonathan, was most professional and friendly. The atmosphere can be described as an upscale diner. Prices are not cheap, but fair for the quality and amount of food received.

Not always open when needed. They close when the bread runs out. All that said One of best sandwiches in the area.

We were referred to the restaurant by the staff at our hotel for pizza delivery. We ordered online which I don't know was a wise decision. After ordering they are supposed to call you back in 15 minutes if not your supposed to call them. We ended up calling and it took them awhile to locate our order so it hadn't been put in. We waited 95 minutes for our pizza to be delivered. When it got to our room it was warm and lacking flavor. Not worth the wait.

While staying at a nearby hotel, I was craving Mexican food and saw this restaurant was recommended. I went to this restaurant and made a to-go order. The restaurant is small inside but I only waited about 10 minutes. There were alot of families eating together inside. When I got back to the hotel and ate, the food was delicious and fresh! There is a salsa bar with about 7-10 different salsas to choose as well. The total price for take-out meal was $5.00!!!!! I'm glad I don't live nearby, I'd be here every week for Mexican food.

Real Mexican eatery and store with all Mexican products you can imagine. Crowded, dark, with lack of interior design, looks like unfriendly space. But who cares? The food is awesome and authentic, portions are huge and cheap. I don't need nothing more. My Torta de Milanesa with breaded steak was one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. Mandatory place for Mexican food enthusiasts.

i ordered pho number 15 and my wife ordered chicken with brown rice. Both are very good - huge portion and flavourful. in addition to bean sprouts and basils they also uses a lot of celentra and mint in their veggies. if you don't care for it, you can tell them ahead of time. They were very busy with phone orders and walk ins. I think they are part of a chain stores. I know they are authentic Vietnamese.
