We went there for lunch. They are very accommodating. My husband wanted grilled vegetables on a green salad. He said it was delicious. I had the lunch special. A fish sandwich on a panini. Everything was grilled and dellicious. Service was good. Place was clean. When I am in the area I will return.

The Blazer has a simple menu, but the food is great! I get a burger or chili and have never been disappointed. The Blazer is a favorite among my family and many locals in the area.

The minute we sat down the waiter was there asking for our drink order. At the same time, the delicious bread and plate of cheese, olives etc was on the table. The food was absolutely delicious. We all had different entrees, all beautifully prepared. Dessert was amazing as well. Can't wait to go back.

Fresh Organic and Delicious
Our suburban area of NY is full of many different types of cuisines with a heavy concentration of American, Italian, Japanese/Chinese and Mexican establishments. The Jewel of the Himalaya definitely provides a break from the norm with their Nepalese style fare. I like to bring colleagues visiting us for work to this restaurant because it is a bit different and also due to its convenient location, great food and comfortable atmosphere. Our local staff and our visitor really enjoyed the meal. I hadn’t remembered that they don’t have a full bar - only beer and wine - so bear that in mind if it’s important to you. The wine we chose was quite good and reasonably priced for a bottle at a restaurant. We were not rushed so had plenty of time to appreciate our meal and engage in some interesting discussions.

Unbelievable!!!
Would never have thought you could deep fry polenta. Absolutely delicious !! It’s Restaurant Week in the Hudson Valley ....The Farmer and The Fish contributed to the success of this great annual tradition.
Our lunch was terrific supported by Karey, our waitress. Unbelievable attention paid to all her tables. From tuna fish to tuna burgers....the food and its delivery was terrific!!!
Great menu!!
Lunch at the Farmer and the Fish is not to be missed.

Restaurant was recently renovated.. added a 12 seat bar to replace the service bar they had previously, new furniture and lighting BUT the same excellent friendly servers and delicious food. Linguini and white clam sauce is hands the best and I have tried to match it all over the world including Italy. Pasta dishes are all excellent and if you want chicken Marsala versus the veal Marsala etc they have on the menu just ask . Ricky the owner is a pleasure and always attentive to his “guests”.

Everything I have tasted has been fine, nothing outstanding. They may have items that are truly great, but I have not discovered them yet. Service is very friendly.

Spent the past (sub-zero) New Years Eve at Le Fontane with friends. The menu was a price-fixed $75 for a four course dinner.
The evening started off with the fact that, after being seated, no one approached us with menus, or even came to take drink orders. Not good. When we were finally approached - by a young man wearing a plaid flannel shirt hanging out of black jeans (on New Year's Eve!) - we were able to order; but when our drink order came, there was only ONE cocktail on the tray and the (different) server had no idea where the rest of the order was. The first course, a "hot antipasto" consisted of some under-seasoned and under-heated fried calamari and zucchini. Clearly had been sitting around in the kitchen for a while. The beet and Gorganzola cheese salad had no seasoning and no dressing on it. The duck breast some of us ordered was pronounced really good, though also under-seasoned, and the lamb shanks (highly touted by Mr. Plaid Shirt) were totally tasteless, as was the bed of rice they were sitting on. The desserts (clearly not house-made) were very good - in fact the only worthy part of the entire meal, so one out of four courses was worth coming for, but a bit pricey at $75. And the service was atrocious. Never again; at least until they hire a different chef and a professional wait staff.

Whenever you have an event or just need a night out with friends or family, I highly recommend Gino's Trattoria as the place to find a family centered establishment. They offer a wide selection of food including authentic Italian favorites. I have not only eaten there, done take out from there but have used their catering services for holiday's and family gatherings. They are always courteous and helpful, deliver on time and make any event much better with everyone always asking where the food came from. I highly recommend for dining in, dining out or for your events.

good food with reasonable prices. liquor prices a bit high for the location and ambiance. great service. got the lobster special and it was good. all entrees should come with at least a house salad and the only complaint is their bread (if it can be called that). Soggy, doughy and tasteless. They really need to buy good crusty type Italian bread.
