Had breakfast here with a friend on a late Sunday morning on her recommendation. Cute place with bohemian, kitschy vibe to it, with a lot of hand-lettering and graffiti kind of look. Servers were friendly and reasonably prompt. Menu is huge with lots and lots...MoreHi! Thanks so much for dining with us and for leaving a great review! I’m so glad that you enjoyed your unique atmosphere and that you loved your meal. We are looking forward to your next visit! Cheers! Shila Morris Co-Owner, President

If theres a line and you just want a cup of joe, grab a cup and put $1 into the jar over by the coffee thermoses. But if you "brave" the line they have croissants, muffins, breakfast burritos, and the like. Great little place.

We had a great time per usual. The food is great with the lobster being a highlight. The s’mores dessert was beyond delicious and I am already dying to go back. Our waiter Cliff was phenomenal... we had a small issue with the meal and he made sure to make sure everything came out perfectly. He had the perfect balance between taking care of us and making us feel like you’re dining with friends. We highly recommend Six Peaks!

Excellent, reasonable menu - great service. Needs a more eclectic wine list - or you can bring your own.

Great service, been here 3 times in two years. It's expensive, yes, but it is a ski resort. You could pay these prices back home for the same quality food and service, but you wouldn't have the view of the Disney Lift and the apres ski grooming, right?
Even with a fairly full dining room the servers and kitchen kept pace quite well.

Fireside Pizza Co. is the brainchild of long time friends Ray Villaman and Ted Kennedy. Ray is a 20 year restaurant veteran including - California Pizza Kitchen, Boston Market, the California Restaurant Association and even a short time as President of Blimpies. Ray also had a ton of help from his Father in Law Rich who remains to this day a vital part of the restaurant management team. You may see the big, smiling fella working with the dough in the back or out front with the guests.Other help came from Mark Wheeler, Scott Kennedy and of course Ray's lovely wife Chris and their two sons Jacob and Nicholas. We hope that you enjoy this family creation - combined with some great investors and friends - all wrapped together to bring you the Fireside Pizza Company. We've won a ton of awards for our fresh, unique pizza - but the best award is still when you tell us or your friends that you had an excellent experience here - thanks so much.Sincerely,Fireside Pizza
We eat here often after skiing. A bottle of wine. Mediterranean pizza with added chicken. Sitting outdoors. What a great way to enjoy Squaw Valley, the scenery and good food. Staff is always friendly on top
Of everything. The pizza is good the wine beer great. And you can’t best the putdoor setting.

Pianeta is a cozy and inviting restaurant located in the heart of historic downtown Truckee, California. Since 1998, we have specialized in creating delicious Italian foods and homemade pastas while offering a stellar dining experience. Our menu features nightly specials inspired by the delicious cuisine of Northern Italy and boasts an impressive wine collection from California vineyards as well as classic Italian wines. At the bar, you will find an inviting atmosphere backed by premium liquor, aperitifs and one of the most popular happy hours in town (5:00-6:30 Monday thru Friday). Finally we pride ourselves on our welcoming friendly staff, warm eclectic old world ambiance and consistently remarkable cuisine. We always recommend reservations and we can accommodate larger parties, please call for more information.
As a Concierge servicing high-end clients, this is my #1 restaurant recommendation in the area. Everything is dialed-in to perfection. This may be the best Italian food I've ever had outside of Italy. The service is outstanding, the wine list top-notch, ambiance is fantastic, and the entire menu is well-executed. Don't overlook the specials menu! It changes weekly and has great additions. I even recommend this restaurant for vegetarians its that good. Only downside is also an upside - only 16 tables. Want to dine here? Better call in advance if you are visiting over ANY weekend or basically any day between Dec 1st and April 1st.

Rustic, historic, building. Lots of windows for a view. Great bar too. Nice choice of options at lunch. They had upscale food. I was expecting pretty basic since they are in the middle of no where. Fabulous salads for lunch. Our server was very friendly and helpful in making our choices. A great place to take visiting relatives. Lots of historical displays and brochures about the area.

Italian style cafe / coffeebar.
We recently discovered our new favorite coffee hangout, the incredible Coffee bar. They deliver on all fronts - the most delicious coffee, matcha, tea and food by far of any coffee shop in Truckee and surrounding areas.
Not only do they have the best coffee, but they also cater to vegan/vegetarian conscious patrons. I've had my matcha and (decaf) coffee with Oatmilk (so creamy!) and almond milk. All house made, and divine. Their lunch selection delivers every time - everything from avocado on toast to lentil curry coconut stew and of course their vegetarian breakfast wrap filled with shredded sweet potatoes that are so yummy.
The ambiance is unmatched, with modern decor and plenty of seating (except during holidays, get there early for a good seat). This is undoubtedly a place you'll want to spend some time in so bring your laptop or a book or even a friend for some good conversation.

This place had one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. The food is just insanely good. But almost more than the food, I can't say enough good things about the owner. He was one of the nicest, most genuine people I've ever met. My wife and I were in late for dinner and he and his staff were more than accommodating, even helped call a shuttle from our hotel at the end of our meal to make sure we got back safely.
