We first visited this place almost 20 years ago while travelling around the mid-west and seeing friends. Well, now we're back in the area so we could not miss out on the opportunity to have another Whitey's shake. Twenty years ago we were overwhelmed with the number of choices and after all that time, things hadn't changed. Thankfully, we caught the place between rush times and had the leisure of taking our time. Finally, we made it and were not disappointed. While the ice cream doesn't taste quite as I remember it was still very good and after eating a large shake I certainly didn't want anything else to eat for the rest of the evening.
Sitting outside, eating the ice cream, I did see the staff coming out and taking orders from people sat in the drive through - not a service I have seen anywhere else.
Not sure when I'll get back, if ever, to sample this again but it was definitely worth the trip. Only thing I found somewhat disappointing was the lack of being able to connect to wi-fi there and 'check-in'.

Frank's Pizza is a standard in the Quad Cities. All other pizza joints style themselves after Frank's. I've been going there since high school and my kids were raised on Frank's. They need no gimmicks like coupons or night specials. They are what they are and when we leave town for any period of time the first place we come to when we get back home is Frank's. When our sons come home for a visit Frank's is the first place we go to and also Frank's is our place to head to for family get togethers. If we go visit our son in Virginia we take him some Frank's. That pretty much says it all. Just can't beat Frank's.

If you haven't tried Whitey's you are missing out. So many flavors to choose from, seasonal flavors too. The staff is always so friendly and fast. People here in Iowa love their Whitey's. This place is busy whether it's hot, cold, raining or freezing cold. You won't be disappointed.

If you're ever in the area this is a must stop if you like ice cream. Family owned and operated business from the old days. We even take a few home on dry ice when we are visiting the area!

In addition to high-quality pizza, we also offer delicious fried chicken, calzones, pastas, salads, sandwiches and appetizers. We decided to try Lemon Grass for the first time today. Had some idea what to expect but it exceeded our expectations! The restaurant is kind of quaint, not really big. The menu is well planned and offers really good selections for everyone. I had the Tangerine Chicken and my wife had a noodle soup. Both excellent and unique. The waitresses were really efficient and helpful. If you are in downtown Moline and want somewhere unique, do visit this restaurant.

We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table, it was busy. Monday was -30 below wind chill. Suzie brought me Hot Tea w/Honey & Lemon, that did the trick! My partner had the Denver Omelet with a side of 2 Pancakes and I had Sausage, Eggs, Toast & Hash browns, with more Tea. We had our food in less than 10 minutes. The food was great and our waitress Suzie, was very attentive. We'll be back here in a heartbeat.

Great tenderloins! They have the greasy comfort food you want. Great prices too. Friendly staff and it's nice to have it on the downtown.

Lagomarcino's is a place steeped in family tradition. Sometimes, during the busy lunch hour as you're sitting in one of the gorgeous, handcrafted mahogany booths, you will start to feel a nostalgic calm, a satisfying wistfulness. You will begin to notice pleasant memories drifting quietly past your table, sweet memories smelling faintly of chocolate.
Every time we are in the area it's a must stop. Great ice cream at great prices. It's an old fashion ice cream parlor. Good friendly serviceThank you for your kind review, Mike! We're so glad you enjoy our ice cream. Next time you stop by, be sure to try some of our other homemade treats, too!

My son and I ate here last night. Our good was awesome. They have just added new dishes to the menu, so being adventurous, I tried something new. It was amazing! My meal had mango, asparagus, broccoli, pineapple, basil and chicken in it, with the chicken being grilled and not fried. It was a nice combination of both sweet and hot with both being just the right amount of sweet and hot that it was not overbearing. I absolutely loved it!
My son ordered pad tai old. He loved his meal also. I appreciate when waiters know about the menu they are serving and ours was current on what each dish was like to describe what it would taste like also. Our family loves this restaurant and we try and stop when coming into the quad cities.
