Based on a previous visit, we stopped in while traveling on a Saturday and were not disappointed.
Thislocation is located on highway 64 right off of highway 421. Sservie was very fast and the BBQ was excellent - like all Smithfields. The employees were very friendly as well.
Will certianly stop in again when in the area.

Johnson's is a "Back to the Future" moment!! Wonderful 1950's decor and wonderful simple food! Burgers are fresh and amazing!! Served on waxed paper, very quaint, drippy and good! You can get whatever you want on a burger, EXCEPT, pickles. No pickles but it doesn't matter. The burgers are perfect!! Fries are just exactly what you need, and you know you need fries with a great burger!! Drinks, Pepsi ,of course, come in a can with a cup of shaved ice! It is an experience that everyone loves!!!
Meat is fresh every day. There is a certain amount, so when it's out?? They close!! It can be quite busy, for good reason, so you should get there on the early end. Around 12:00 or so. Only open for lunch.
Johnson's is a treasure that really is not a well kept secret!! So many people ask about, or know about Johnson's. It is a legend!! If you are driving along 64 and going through Siler City around lunch time, you must stop in. Just a fun time!!!

I was driving from Raleigh to Winston-Salem and got a craving for good old Mexican food and found San Felipe at the Walmart shopping Center at the intersection of 421 and 64. I really wanted chips and fajitas.
Service was good, prices reasonable, very clean, and quick (since I wanted to get back on the road). Plenty of food, total cost w/ tip $16.
SOmetimes you just want this type of food and when you do, you'll enjoy it here.

Great home cooked food. Taste like my mom use to make! Reasonable pricing, nice but small selection. Great salad bar.

Been eating here for 10+ years. Grilled steaks, chicken, salmon are consistently good. My favorite is Pa Pa's ribeye with their "Fun Yun" blooming onion. The layout is like a barn so you can imagine you are eating in a horse stall. Service is decent and the staff friendly. Good for the whole family, dinner date, or special event. Evenings can be busy, especially Fri and Sat. Browse the store of "funky stuff" as my wife puts it if you are waiting for a table.

We visited celebrating a birthday, so we were in a private room, very spacious and comfortable. I ordered a 2 combo dinner-small, and it was a huge amount of food. The salt/pepper catfish was very good. The staff was very friendly and welcoming!

I'm just passing through here but stopped for lunch. My GPS tells me there are a couple Mexican restaurants here. I believe I have stopped here before so I will try it again. The service was courteous and quick. The food was ample and delicious. The price was very reasonable. Highly recommend it when in this area.
