This excellent restaurant is only open 4 months, WED-SAT I believe. They only take 12 diners a night, and the start times are nicely staggered to accommodate everyone. The menu is very interesting. They only do a handful of things, but they are done very well. Everything was delicious and exotic with an Asian twist. Ambiance is excellent and mellow. Thank you Hans!

Loved the food at this fusion cuisine restaurant in Ojochal, South of Uvita. It was too warm today during lunch time to enjoy all the wonderful dishes on the menu, so I must go back for dinner.
We had an amazing ceviche, a tuna sashimi and salmon roll appetizer and a fresh snapper perfectly cooked with a delicious sweet potato pure.
I will be back soon to try more dishes soon.

We had dinner at the Mamma e Papa. The owners are extremely friendly and offer great service. We ordered salad, home made pasta, the pork meat, calamari and lemon pie. Excellent food for a reasonable price. Highly recommended for Italian food.

We had lunch here while in Drake Bay. Fried chicken casados with passion fruit and guanabana batidos for dessert. The food was tasty, the prices were good, and the view from the main level was nice.

...and the most expensive!
This is a 5 star restaurant. The chef is amazing. All the food is locally sourced and what is in season, fresh and mostly organic. The presentation and the staff were outstanding.
I enjoyed a Shrimp Ceasar salad and had a Shrimp Entree. Chocolate crepe for dessert. Incredible!!!
The restaurant is located at a small boutique hote (El Castillo), which has amazing ocean and river views. When we were there, the hotel was quiet, so we were fortunate to sit by the poolside, with our feet in the water - enjoying a cocktail before sitting at our table. Stunning setting.

Gringo Curt's Seafood & Visitor Center was established June 2010 and our menu has not changed to date. We have pride in our small menu because it assures that we can provide freshness throughout the year by purchasing fruits, vegetables and fresh fish, locally and daily. There are many benefits to having same day caught fish but one downside is that we cannot guarantee a time that we can open. If we have fish at 12pm, we open. There were three plates we could choose. Two of them were to be shared with two persons. One of these was vegetarian. The portions are large and the fish was really good. Probably necessary to book one day in advance, especially in high season.We appreciate your kind words.

We enjoyed sopa de mariscos, in the lively restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxed and open air. We have had lunch here as well.

this is a large, multipurpose space which can be used for dances, meetings, etc., and is a bit underused as a restaurant. The disco adjoining can add a bit of noise.

The best thing about Las Vegas is its amazing view of the Sierpe river and Mountains. The restaurant has a covered outside patio that hangs out over the river and boat docks. It's a great place to chill out. The patio isn't air-conditioned by it does have lots of ceiling fans. There is free WiFi. Inside the restaurant is colorfully painted tire art and photo's of wildlife. There's even a giftshop. The restaurant has a selection of wines, beers, and spirits. They accept credit cards (visa and MC, not AmericanExpress). The menu has a mix of average tasting Tico and western food (go for the view, not the food).
