The Red River is the heart and soul of Shreveport, a cultural and gaming center on the Louisiana/Texas border. Riverboat casinos evoke the glamour and mystery of the past while providing modern travelers with thrills and excitement. If the tables aren't your style, take a trip over the neon-lit Texas Street Bridge to the horse-racing at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City, Shreveport's thriving sister city. Visitors can unwind in one of Shreveport's botanical oases and enjoy the area's fine waterfront dining, shopping and entertainment. Shreveport sizzles in the summertime but has a temperate climate for the rest of the year.

It was my better half’s 60th Birthday, so we took a short trip to Las Vegas to celebrate. For his dinner, we chose The Top Of Binion’s Steakhouse. We chose well!! The staff is OUTSTANDING!! We were seated at a window view that faced the strip, and we could look down to the Fremont Street Experience. Our before dinner cocktail was perfectly blended and the bread that came thereafter was moist, sourdoughy and had large chunks of salt baked in the top. DELICIOUS! The following salad and lobster bisque was top notch. Our steaks, huge baked potatoes, and seasoned green beans arrived next and they were perfectly cooked. We had very attentive service, but allowed to eat at our own pace. So relaxing and comfortable. We will be back!!

Our server, AJ, was very attentive, entertaining, and knew exactly what to recommend from the menu for the best value and enjoyment. He proved to be quite the salesman, talking us into appetizers and dessert, both of which we loved.
This restaurant has long been one of my most preferred local date spots, especially because of the versatility of its layout. You can eat in a formal dining setting, or out on the patio. Outdoor hookah rentals are affordably priced.
I would recommend Athena's for any gathering, couples or friends. I've been here on several occasions for lunch meetings with coworkers, and have not had any problem with timing for our lunch breaks.

Crawdaddy's Kitchen is a Cajun restaurant bringing the relaxed "laissez les bons temps rouler" attitude to Shreveport. Let the good times roll!
Never been let down by trip advisor’s #1 restaurant listing until now. Even the concierge said to go here. $70 bill for myself and three teens. Two kids got Po’ boys and I got the grilled shrimp dinner. Had to ask for the sides and for silverware. My other daughter got a grilled shrimp appetizer which didn’t even come close to filling her up. Their bloody Mary was good and spicy but small for $7.50. Definitely not going back anytime soon.

One of two Louisiana locations of this franchise.
For the money one of the best steakhouses out there! Very good staff who cook the food just right! I recommend

The restaurant looks like a fun but not overly fancy place, so I was surprised to receive 5-star service. Even though it wasn't on the menu, our server brought us Jambalaya because we were so excited to try it. Delicious! Then he recommended their bread pudding - wonderful! He was so thoughtful about waiting on us, it made us feel welcome. My fried seafood platter was fine, but I'd probably try something different next time. The rolls were my daughter's favorite and were served warm - see, another example of great service! Service brought the restaurant from a 4 to a 5 star.

Four of us went out for brunch at this excellent restaurant which specialises in serving great breakfasts. We ordered a south skillet, a farm frittata and two blackstones and we were all delighted, and filled up, by these delicious meals. Service was very friendly and...MoreWe're glad to hear you had an excellent experience. We appreciate you leaving this great review and hope to see you again soon!

We love this place. The fried mushrooms are some the the best I have ever had, and you get a large portion. My friend really liked her Diablo burger, but said it was a little large. For those hungry folks, I'm sure it is perfect. We sat at the small bar and had a good time talking to Chad, the very knowledgeable bartenter, and other guest. Drinks were great. Looking forward to the next time!

Legendary Food, Legendary Service
Our first trip to this chain We usually like to support local non-chain businesses but the cold weather and the restaurant's proximity to our hotel caused us to bend on this rule.
It was very crowded and very noisy but our server was immediately at our table and was very helpful. For those who visit from out of state, be aware that if you are ordering booze in this city you need some ID.
Food came quickly, steaks were cooked perfectly, no downside. Caesar salad was good and the bread was hot and had a slight sweet cinnamon roll taste, which was unusual. Good value.

If you are looking for a local place that is known for its seafood: this is it! This family owned restaurant may not look inviting on the outside, but once inside you will find a diverse clientele in occupations, financially, and age. I loved the oyster po-boy sandwich! It’s only a quick turn off Interstate 20 west of Shreveport. Go once- you’ll be back.

Experience sophisticated dining in our riverfront restaurant, featuring prime steak and signature seafood entrées straight from the Gulf of Mexico. Our exquisite menu is complimented with an extensive, handpicked selection of fine wines.
This is upper scale food with a higher price, but the food is superior. Highly recommend, especially if a special occasion or it's time for excellent seafood & fine steaks. Best shrimp cocktail I've ever had too.
