18 Bay is a Chef owned and operated restaurant. We serve a four course Italian inspired Chefs menu that is a direct reflection of the local markets. Dinner begins with four different antipasti, followed by a handmade pasta, a choice of entree and dessert. The menu changes every week. We make handcrafted cocktails using organic syrups, serve local wine including two on tap, as well as international wines from small producers. We offer a vegetarian menu and accommodate for any allergies or aversions. We look forward to sharing with you our interpretation of the best of our terroir.
The food was delicious. Chef's tasting menu on the night we visited consisted of a tasting of four expertly prepared appetizers including beets, incredibly fresh striped bass sushi with cucumber noodles, roasted smashed truffle parmasean potato and grilled lamb. Pasta course was a spaghetti with red clam sauce that was really more of a red clam broth over salty pasta; we chose as our entree wonderfully prepared fresh Atlantic Halibut. The Almond cake dessert had a delicate flavor and fluffy texture. The service was excellent.

We will be CLOSED Jan 22 - Feb 1. Both Locations. Reno & Relaxation. See you for lunch Friday the 2nd!
I've eaten here twice. Most recently got the nachos. Very tasty and way too much food. One small quibble is that they used cheese sauce instead of actual cheese. This place can get really crowded in the season, so don't go really hungry.

Marie Eiffel Market is your local cafe and market for fresh baked goods, organic produce, groceries, artisan meats, imported cheeses, locally-sourced fish, chef-prepared deli sandwiches, salads, and hand-rolled pizza right here on Shelter Island. Bring our fine foods home with you, stay and enjoy our cafe, or sit out back with a dockside water view.
Stopped at this beautiful quaint cafe on Shelter Island whilst staying at Sag Harbour. The food and service was excellent - it was wonderful and so peaceful sitting outside on the waterfront. Well worth the trip.

We were there on an off season Saturday night (our anniversary), and had a really nice, quiet, evening. We both had the 3-course menu with a wine pairing. The waiters were excellent, and all of our dishes were very good. By the end of the meal, we were too full for two desserts but the cookies can be taken in a to-go bag. We took them, and we ate them for days.

I took my father to have dinner at The American Hotel and the food was excellent. Of course, we had the traditional Thanksgiving dinner but the wait staff performed flawlessly. A couple of observations though. First, the hotel does not have dedicated parking. You park on the street or in a little alley way adjacent to the hotel. For Thanksgiving this would be no problem but when the summer crowd arrives, parking is at a premium. The second is that it was just a tad chilly in the restaurant. Everytime someone arrived, the cold air seeped through the restaurant.

Hellenic Snack Bar & Restaurant in East Marion, NY serves authentic Greek cuisine and a great selection of local wine, local harvest and local seafood on the North Fork of Long Island. The portions are plentiful and great for all occasions! We offer year round indoor dining and either full outdoor dining or covered outdoor dining in our enclosed pavilion. It is heated and available year round for catering. We also cater off-premise in your home, on the waterfront or at your favorite winery.
Place has good food with good service and is very clean. The only downfall to this place is that it's expensive. I'm giving it three stars for the pricing not the quality of food.

My husband and I went to Vine Street and had a wonderful meal. We went on Monday evening and the special was Bouillabaisse. We decided to share a salad and the Bouillabaisse. The mozzarella and heirloom tomato salad was delicious and the Bouillabaisse was outstanding and just right for the two of us. The atmosphere is casual and pleasant. The staff and service was top notch. We will surely come back when we are in the area.

Southold Fish Market is located in a convenient spot right off the main road with plenty of parking, in a relatively recently built facility. The fresh fish never disappoints and there is a wide selection of fish and shellfish, along with frozen and refrigerated sauces, spreads and selections. The spreads are great for party appetizers. On the opposite side of the store is a dining area--most of the menu is fried seafood and fried sides, better than bars in the area but the preparation does not take full advantage of the freshness of the fish. The servers in general - both in the raw store and the dining area - are young and impatient. During the summer season when this place is busy, they can be surly, giving the eye as you select the fish you'd like to purchase, even if you are placing a large order. There is a large garbage hamper in the parking lot and during hot summer months there have been times it stinks badly, the seagulls love it, though.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch before beginning a wine tour of the area, and it was superb! As soon as we walked in, Freddy, the owner, the was very kind and told us a bit about the menu. Once he found out...MoreThank u Ashton! I hope you had a great time at the vineyards! Stop in to see us again on your next trip to the NOFO.

Page: Restaurant is a modern American restaurant in the heart of historic Sag Harbor. In addition to our Aquaponic Garden, where fresh organic produce is cultivated in-house, renowned Executive Chef James Carpenter engages local farmers and fisheries to bring the best of the East End directly to your table. Page: Restaurant provides a relaxed and elegant atmosphere with a year-round atrium room and seasonal outdoor dining.
Page is open year round which might explain it’s consistently excellent food and service. Menu is varied with interesting daily specials. We recently had their daily special, duck two ways, which should be added to the menu as it was perfect.
Another outstanding dish is their fish or shrimp in a curry sauce. We have had it several times, and great preparation with veggies and sticky rice.
