This is a wonderful old time Main Street restaurant. We had hamburgers and their famous pies. The hamburger was very good and a little different than your usual chain restaurant. The real highlight though is their pies. We had a slice of banana cream and key lime. Both were excellent but if I had to choose the banana cream would win hands down. The prices are modest reflecting small town dining. The atmosphere is straight out of a simpler time when the downtown and the restaurants were the center of community life. When in Shawnee a must stop!

My first time to a Bricktown Brewery Franchise and it was better than I expected. It was a good place for family and friends to meet, eat, and visit after a school event. The waite staff was patient, friendly, courteous and even joined in our humor.

I arrived less than an hour before close and there were still only two tables open! Here is the conversation with the server.
Me, "I believe you have street tacos."
Server, "4 tacos?"
Me, "yes."
A couple of minutes later the tacos arrived. I inhaled them and was licking the bowl. Interestingly, the sauce served with the chips was served warm. It was good.
I will be back!

Very good oriental restaurant. Great service. Large selection of dishes, including sushi. Lunch and dinner combos. I would recommend a chef's special it comes with an entrée, soup, egg roll, two fried shrimp, rice, and sweet sour chicken. Definitely get more than you can get.

I got invited to lunch by two prominent members of the Shawnee Community. We met at Paul’s Place Steakhouse, which has an excellent reputation as one of the best restaurants in Shawnee. Our server was very helpful and considerate.
The menu included a variety of appetizers, starters, beverages, entrees, sides, and desserts. Yet, steaks are the specialty of the house. We all opted for the meatloaf special. We were not disappointed. The meal was very good. The restaurant is an excellent choice for families or individuals visiting Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU); the restaurant is close to campus. I highly recommend this restaurant to visitors looking for good steak meal close to OBU.

The Chicken fried "steak" isn't. I am not sure what it is, but it reminds me of the stuff we got in school called salsbury steak. Very disappointing. Even the waitress told us if we wanted real Chicken fried steak to go to Delta Cafe.

On a brisk Saturday morning in Shawnee, I decided to take my wife at to breakfast downtown. One of Shawnee’s finest business professionals took me on a community tour, highlighting some of the best eating establishments in Shawnee. Sunny Side Up Restaurant was one of these restaurants to visit. It was emphasized as a good place for breakfast. The restaurant is a family-owned business that has been in the community for over 20 years.
At 9:30am, the place was crowded with a lot of locals. That is a good sign. When you arrive, you can sit yourself. You can see the cooks in full view as they prepare your meals. Our server, Valerie, was very professional and courteous. The menu selection was loaded with a lot of breakfast items including omelets and pancakes. We were delighted to see that grits were part of these breakfast offerings.
Those individuals who love breakfast can come to this restaurant and get breakfast all day. The food was very good.

My husband is finicky about restaurants. We rarely eat out so you can imagine my delight that he loves The Garage. He last ordered THE BIG G and fries. Huge burger and he couldn't finish. This burger was delicious and yes I sampled the burger. I could eat the French fries as my meal, they are so well seasoned. I left the best for last, the Banh Mi Tacos. They are a little messy but if you love fish tacos you have to try these.

This was our sixth visit to Flame and it was by far our best experience. It was very nice - we had a new waitstaff (we were his first table) and he did a great job - kudos on training and hiring. We had the "light" meal with just the salad bar option but that is more than enough - so many options. My favorite is the smoked salmon and I also like the bleu cheese grapes. There was a nice wine selection and we finished with the Creme Brûlée for dessert. Excellent experience!
