Cassia invites you to celebrate the Renaissance in Chinese fine dining, taking inspiration from the age-old spice routes in Southern and Western China and the seas around Singapore. Classics are prepared with full respect towards tradition, where the freshest local ingredients are used to create a feast for the senses. Recipes are based upon traditional, regional cooking and blended with haute Cantonese techniques. Interior designer Andre Fu has masterfully transformed the restaurant's 1880s era Colonial building to reflect a modern, sophisticated interior with lush fabrics and a unique blend of colours, creating a warm and inviting dining room, where small, intimate exchanges help flavour the mood while you savour each bite.
The journey to Capella is tedious if you are mobile by foot, but i find it a healthy walk, It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Imbiah or Beach Station (Monorail - Sentosa Express) to Capella. When you approach a small elevated ground with a beautiful building in sight, that's Capella.
Dinner was served promptly and the service of the staff is great. They are attentive and prompt in ensuring that our champagnes are well chilled, Chinese tea served piping hot, and food warm. The setting inside Cassia is posh and very comfortable. Restaurant is well maintained and the mood is very comfortable on the eyes. The only thing the restaurant may want to look into is their music. The music they played was not very soothing and all 10 of use felt that they can either soften the volume or to change it totally. We did feedback to the staff on ground and immediate actions were taken. Kudos to that.
Food quality is remarkable. Especially the roasted crispy pork and double boiled soup. Meat was crispy outside and juicy inside. It was marvelous. Generous ingredients and portion in the soup made it filling even before the main dish. Weakest link of the food was the vegetable that was served. Majority of us found it too salty for our liking. Restaurant Manager took prompt action to remove the dish and offered to rectify the issue. We were very pleased with his attitude.
There is nothing much to pick on. Cassia provides a fantastic location to anyone who enjoys the tranquility in a city and dishes out very decent quality Chinese cuisine. Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for good Cantonese food.

Spicy prawns were battered and not spicy. Crispy calamari was average. Cioppino was thin and light on the ingredients. And pizza didn't even rate as microwave. Just awful. Half the price of the meal was the wine -- and at least that was good. Friendly service even if not overly attentive. Pretty view but not worth the trip.. Too many other fabulous choices in the city to go here.

Located in a charming conservation building next to So SPA, The Garden offers wholesome contemporary cuisine. Enjoy the freshest ingredients delicately prepared to retain the ingredients' natural goodness and flavours.
We were very impressed with The Garden; very peaceful ambience, great if you want to relax and escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We spotted wild peacocks roaming the grounds. Manager Stella was very attentive and warm. We had the signature salad (great crunch with a well-balanced mango dressing), gluten-free pesto pasta, and capelini. Soo, Chef Terry and Chef Dennis did a great job. We really enjoyed our dinner and look forward to returning!
P.S. Manager Stella, you are fantastic!

We went there because of a friend's recommendation and lucky we did, for the food was just great! The tenderloin was one of the best that I have ever eaten and the grilled tiger prawns were delicious too. The RWS invite promotion made the deal more worthwhile. I'll be waiting for the next opportunity to visit Osia again!

Wow. I had the most amazing dinner here over the weekend. The menu was inventive and I truly enjoyed each course on the degustation. The wine pairings were also extremely complimentary to the courses. The restaurant is beautiful and has a lovely atmosphere. The service - incredible. The staff are charming and knowledgeable about the menu and history of the chef and restaurant. Met Andre on the way out - wished him well with his new endeavours - this venue will be missed!

We didn't make any Reservations, so we just walked in for dinner. Luckily there's a table for us, it was quite full due to the public holiday. We were going through the menu and couldn't decide. Then the supervisor came over and recommended to us the Set Meal for 2. True enough the food was real good. The crab, prawns, fish... delicious. It was a good dining experience here.

My wife and I wanted somewhere nice to celebrate our return to Singapore and, having enjoyed meals at their restaurants in Hong Kong and Bangkok previously, decided to have dinner here.
This was an enjoyable experience, with excellent service and well presented dishes. The decor was beautiful and the counter Seating allowed us to watch the chefs as they prepared our food. We were sorely tempted by their discovery menu, as well as the huge Tomahawk aged steak, but the portions were just too large.
We opted for the dinner menu, at S$198 before taxes, with an additional $48 supplement to add a beef main course. The breads, as usual, were fresh and tasty. The amuse bouche of foie gras custard with Porto wine was interesting, though it was a little strange to have the foie gras as a cream. This was followed by Hokkaido sea urchin in a lobster broth, which was nice.
I liked the confit salmon and I guess my wife, who is not a fan of cooked salmon, liked the dish too. My main was duck confit, which came in a tea cup. While the duck was delicious beneath the pumpkin puree, it was unsubstantial, even with a side of the signature mashed potato. I am not a huge molecular gastronomy fan, and I really wished that the dishes were done in a more traditional way. In fact, I left the restaurant still feeling hungry. My wife opted for the grilled Kagoshima beef with Sarawak black pepper, and it was delicious, but there were only a few tiny pieces.
Dessert was dark chocolate fondant, with tonka bean sauce and chocolate sorbet. It was beautifully presented, if a little sweet. Our pot of Earl Grey tea was weak, but we loved the galette and Madelines which ended the meal.
Our main male server, as well as the other female servers, were friendly and warm, and took pains to describe the dishes.
Parking at the basement can be confusing, as we had to go around looking for the blue lots. Thereafter, instead of following the signage and rather convoluted route for Hotel Michael, just head to Festive Walk food street, where you can find the restaurants at one end.
A meal for two, without alcohol, came to around $550.

Celebrated my 50th birthday here. The food (rack of lamb) was scrumptious. The atmosphere, special. The staff were attentive and friendly. Gave me a lovely personalized dessert with candle and a box of chocolates. We all had such a wonderful evening. We sat outside near the pool. Lovely!
