We are a family friendly restaurant and Sal's Mexican Restaurants has three locations to serve you: Selma, Fresno and Madera. We offer dine-in, take-out or catering for your party needs! Enjoy party trays, casseroles, even handmade Tamales for that special get -together.
We were staying overnight in Fresno after visiting Yosemite. I have never been to Fresno therefore I didn't know where to eat. So I checked out a highly recommended place, The Doghouse, and it was packed with a waiting line of 30 people or more. I knew that might be the place to eat but I was hungry and needed a beer, so I was not willing to wait. My standby is always Mexican food. I read the reviews on TA and decided to try Sals. I loved it! Great service and good food.

Formerly Perkos on KingsCanyon and Clovis...soooo needs a major interior makeover. Very tired and worn...new menu is impressive but the food brought to our table did not warrant another visit. Very disappointed in the taste of the food and mostly with the depressing interior. Too bad for Sunnyside as we are so lacking in pleasant places to dine that have great food over here in this part of Fresno.

Ann's Donut started out as an unassuming little shop tucked away in strip mall but this mainstay has won the hearts of Selmans by providing a two great products 1.) warm yummy donuts 2.) friendly customer service. Selmans can remember when all our small personal retailers where shut down by Walmart (Dino's Bakery, McCall & Fox Drug Store, Leon's Shoes, etc.) We remember the small businessman or family-owned shops that gave us great personal service, Anne's is just like that. I've usually popped in at 7am to pick up a couple of dozen donuts for work but recently I went in on a Sunday afternoon with my mom just to have coffee and a maple bar. I was happy to see they added an area for frappacinos & assorted coffees. Even though it was near closing time they never rushed us and let us stay to finish our visit while they unloaded inventory that had just arrived. While walking out to our car two more vehicles pulled into the parking lot looking for their donut fix I suppose. Give them a try and I'll try and go in more often.

Both the service & food were not to our liking. The crust on the bread was tough, as was the baked potato skin. I was charged $1.99 for potato toppings, although I didn't see it stated on the menu. Both of our t-bone steaks were very under cooked. When we sent them back, they were returned to us burned & dried out. The salad & the beans were delicious, but that's not enough to get us to return.

The central valleys favorite smoke/steakhouse. Seating on our patio, in the pub or restaurant. Famous for our Tri Tip Sandwich for just 7.50. Take it to go or enjoy it in our Pub. We serve Break fast, lunch and dinner and have a very popular happy hour bar from 3-6 Monday through Friday. . Karaoke every Tuesday night in our Pub. Concerts around the Koi Ponds every Friday night starting April 15 followed by DJ until midnight. We make the best homemade cinnamon rolls and muffins in the area and if that isnt enough we have a Starbucks coffee house inside. Enjoy a latte, Mocha, Americano or Chai Tea.
My wife and I ate here on a road trip around California in August 2016. We had picked it out in advance of our trip based on reviews and we had an enjoyable meal. The restaurant is very pretty, with some odd theming going on, much of it was Scandinavian themed but there was bits of England thrown in, making us Brits feel at home. Outside there was a large windmill and a pretty pond, and inside some cute and also some weird décor.
The food was tasty and we both had good platefuls but the prices weren't cheap...my sizzle steak was $22. The service was friendly and the food was hot and tasty although the room we were seated in was quite chilly. We shared a banana dessert, which was huge and delicious. Overall despite the relatively high prices, it was a good meal and we can recommend it.

This was my favorite Chinese restaurant when I was a kid. We recently stopped here for dinner on our way to L.A. It's been 30 years since I've eaten here so wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised that it's still just as good as I remembered. The prices are unbeatable for what you get. I got the pork chow mein and fried rice, and the portions were so large that I was only able to eat about half. Dinner for two with soft drinks came out to under $20.

I've never had a taco better than Rodolfo's Selma Taco. Crisp shell, marinated steak, guacamole, cheese & tomato--yum! The service is quick & friendly and there is a large room to accommodate families and groups. There are lots of choices on the menu, but I'll stay with the Selma Taco!

My wife and I have been coming here for at least 10 years now. The quality is just as good now as the first time that we came here. We usually order a large pizza and garlic cheese bread to go, but once and a while we eat inside. They have beer on draft, they have a game room for the kids, and even a patio if you want to eat outside. We will probably continue to come here as long as we are living in the area.

We were warmly greeted by the manager and quickly seated. We both chose the Ultimate Skillet. Our server was nice.
The picture looked delicious.
When we got our food, it was drowning in grease and the hot pad slip covers on the skillet were filthy, both of them.
The puddles of grease in the skillet and the filthy hot pads almost turned my stomach. I have had enough grease to last me for the next six months. We will not return to this restaurant.
