This is my favorite restaurant in the area, we've been coming here for 15 years and have never had a bad meal. I was just there to celebrate my birthday and had another great meal. I usually get the seafood linguine, my favorite, but I've...MoreIt is so nice to see our devoted customers year after year. Thank you for keeping us viable. Without our valuable past & new customers it would be a real challenge these days. Hope to see you next time!

Fish & Chips Dungeness Crab
This place is nothing fancy and you will be happy with what you get for fish and seafood here. can't go wrong with the fish and chips, crab, shrimp . It's a local place where they go to eat and don't pass it by when driving south of Newport.

Learned of La Maison from other tourists in the tourist information office / chamber of commerce . We just had a light lunch of a croissant sandwich and chowder but both reflected that the owners care about food and what they serve. Very good service, as well. It appears that La Maison do set dinners, which would probably be worthwhile.

We have been going here for 24 years and we love it. Yes the building doesn't really match it but that is part of the charm. Recommend the Lulu Roll, the Crunch Roll, the Yakisoba, the fried oysters, the tempura. Always a stop when we visit.

Both the pastries and the coffee are delicious at this little drive-thru wonder in Seal Rock! We got a maple bar (double the usual size and the maple frosting was perfection!) and a cherry bearclaw (never tasted better). Also got a Mexican Mocha the had exceptional flavor! And the nicest ladies in the little "tiny house" they work in. This little section of stores where they are located has an interesting combination of treasures too. You WILL want to go back--even if it's out of your way!

Pacific Sourdough is a small artisan bakery located next to Alsea Bay on the Oregon Coast. We create natural leavened sourdough breads, delicious pastries and specialty desserts. You can visit the bakery on Thursdays and Saturdays from 10 to 3 at 740 NE Mill Street in Walport's Old Town area. Limited hours, hard to find but worth searching out and getting something wonderfully delicious.Katie McNeil and Mike Smith, the bakers and owners of Pacific Sourdough also sell fresh baked breads and pastries at the Saturday Farmers' Market in Newport. Market shoppers will find a wide variety of handcrafted Pacific Sourdough breads and specialty pastries baked fresh that day (often still warm from the oven!) and can enjoy the seasonal offerings and inspirations of the bakers.
We purchased 4 items. The shortbread was outstanding.
The Napoleon was good. Don't see these often.
We purchased 2 other items but did not eat them for several days as we were traveling. I think we will eat the items when they are fresher next time.
We stopped at the shop but had also observed them do a brisk business at the final Newport Farmer's Market.
Staff were super friendly and helpful. Happy to see such a business in this area. Hope they are there for years to come!!

Hours are subject to change if we run out of product.
Doesn't look like much but if you want a super great burger AND at a great price, Chubby's is for you. Juicy, tasty, and delivered as ordered with several different combinations on the menu. Unless you are really hungry order the Small fries which are plentiful and tasty. As for the rest of their menu you cant go wrong with whatever you order.

You enter Georgie's Beachside Grill and the first thing you notice is the view. The Pacific Ocean unfolds from tableside windows and sets the scene for a remarkable dining experience. Then you notice a few other things. Waiters greet people with a warm smile. Bartenders create crafted cocktails without a side order of arrogance. And kids are actually... happy to be here. It's no wonder this restaurant is a favorite with both visitors and locals alike. The menu reads like it's for a place where the jackets required are more of the polar fleece kind. There's no Foie Gras to be found or small portions that leave you longing for more. It's just plenty of mouthwatering authentic Northwest favorites with an emphasis on seafood. From expertly prepared halibut, salmon, Yaquina Bay Oysters, Dungeness crab and more to inventive dishes like the locals' favorite, Diablo Seafood Pasta, every appetite will be satisfied. There's even a delectable kids menu, vegetarian and gluten-free fare as well. Reservations are not accepted but you are welcome to call ahead put your name on the wait list. Georgie's is open daily at 7:30am.
We were staying at hallmark inn for our anniversary,so of course we wanted to eat here . We waited a while to be seated ,but to be fair it was a prom? night so many young people waiting to get seated. We got a great table with a view of the ocean, as all the windows are glass of course. It was super busy ,but the wait staff was hustling and doing a great job . I had the parmesan chicken which was great. my husband had a steak which was very good and well cooked. The grand finale was the gorgeous sunset . I was impressed by how well the wait staff worked together and kept everyone moving despite the large crowd. I thought for the quality of food the price was very fair.

Always stop here for breakfast whenever we are at the Oregon Coast. Great little restaurant with super friendly staff. I can only review one item since I can’t pass it up to try anything else. The Marrionberry French toast is to die for. Homemade bread with a cream cheese filling covered with a Marrionberry sauce and topped with homemade whipped cream. YUM!!!

Half the reason we chose Waldport for the day was to stop here. They always have the most enormous ice cream servings. Family of four all had two flavors, most on waffle cones, for less than $20. The sign should include ice cream. The owner is patient and kind, but closes at 5 or 6, so don't wait too long to go for dessert.
