Three dining options: First, The original StageHouse Restaurant, offering fine dining in an elegant county inn setting. Built in 1737 this historic inn boasts many small dining rooms with a fireplace in each room. The Stage House Restaurant offers an ala carte menu every day. Next, The Tavern at the Stage House, which serves up Rustic American fare in a more casual setting. Newly renovated with a new 35 seat bar, a cool little club house and the best Burger in Town. Lastly, The Patio at the stage house, which is a huge outdoor bar and dining room offering either menu. Reservations are only accepted for the fine dining restaurant, the others are first come first serve.
This is a great place for drinks and food and live entertainment. Live classic rock bands on Friday night and typically club music on Saturday nights. Hey have a separate sit down eating area inside and during the summer outside tables with full service.
I gave it 4 stars because it is pretty pricey. But they are always changing the menu up and service is typically good.
Also, last time we were there 5 different fights broke out. It seems like they are attracting a younger crowd because it's a great place to hang and no places around it like it.

Ok. This place had me at “hello lobster fra diavolo” with its amazing, giant messiness and flavors. This place gets very crowded and it’s not a romantic place - you come here to eat and socialize. The service is fast, friendly. Recommended for a fun, yummy night out.

The Spanish Tavern is the premier destination in New Jersey for awarding winning traditional and contemporary Spanish cuisine. Those who have dined with us at Spanish Tavern have come to know us as restaurant they can rely on for superb food, delicious drinks, exceptional service and a gorgeous environment to turn the every day and most special of occasions into warm memories. New Jersey Monthly Magazine has named Spanish Tavern as Best Spanish Restaurant in Northern New Jersey. Our menu is well rounded, with a large emphasis placed on seafood dishes due to the seaside Spanish regions where the owners are from. Favorites include our Shrimp in Garlic Sauce appetizer, Veal Corunesa, Twin Lobsters, Paella Valencia and Branzino Filet a la Plancha. Our lunch menu is accessible for casual lunch meetups in addition to being a smart choice for a business meeting. A children's menu allows for Spanish Tavern to be a dining option for the whole family. Our private dining room can host up to 75 guests for any event, including christenings, rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, reunions and charity events. Spanish Tavern also excels at catering and would be happy to work with you to bring you vision to life. Come by or call for takeout to see why we're New Jersey's favorite Spanish restaurant!
First the good . . . THE FOOD. We started with the some kind of Spanish bean and potato soup, which was very tasty. We each ordered paella, one order of Paella Valencia, and one of Paella Marinera. The portions were large, and the paella delicious.
Now the not so good. The dining room is one big room, jammed with as many tables, chairs and people as they can possible fit. The have tried muting the noise in the room by covering two walls with sound-deadening material, but it's still very loud, very crowded, and has zero ambiance. Second, service is slow at best. Third, it's grossly overpriced considering the slow service and the loud cramped dining conditions. Too bad, because the food is good enough to command the high price ($100 for two of us, without any liquor), but not in such a pedestrian environment.

First of all when you pull up to the address along the main street you will see a boarded up building with a small sign that says come in we're open and you have to drive around the back of the building and park to enter from the rear.
The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food came out quickly. We enjoyed the spicy yellowtail roll, Futo roll, Philadelphia roll, and the big mama roll. It was an OK experience. At the end they gave us free mochi which is delicious!

This delightful place has been a favorite of ours for 3 decades. Same family owners, same high quality, same unending choices. There are many regular customers that just keep coming back because nothing else comes close.

Attended a fund raising buffet at this restaurant and was pleased with the food and service. Went back to try the regular menue and was not disappointed. The food and service are excellent and the price is right on target. I'm always pleased with good service and the staff are great.

Since my childhood, this bakery, which used to be in Plainfield New Jersey, has provided us with delicious Italian rum cakes for family birthdays. Not only the rum cakes are exceptional, but the Italian pastries are second to none. Keep up the great work and providing wonderful service.

Strategically located across from Fanwood station, you can get standard breakfast options- do not expect strong coffee, for those diehard drinkers.
Lunch and dinner are good but not spectacular at reasonable prices.
Lots of space, clean, and good wifi.
Bottom line- it is about location and nothing too surprising on the menu.

Moe’s Bistro is a reflection of Moe’s personality, knowledge, and humor. He wants to bring something memorable and thoroughly enjoyable to every table
Pleasant atmosphere and very nice entertainment on a Saturday night. The food was average to good, but the wines by the glass were all pretty bad. The wine list was not much better. Too bad they recently received their liquor license!!
